As far as I know CM kernel has no BB.
Device: Samsung Galaxy SII
Kernel: Siyah 5.0.1+
ROM 1: CMX 4.1.2 Jelly Bean
ROM 2: Mozilla B2G
Modem: I9100DXLP9

I tried wiping data and so far it haven't bricked my phone. I have the buggy chip bdw. I think cody won't release it until it's safe even though it's experimental.

This is a cm team build not a kang, they wouldn't release it unless it was safe but still you should check you have a sane chip

It's not even too laggy. There's only a slight lag on the keyboard and that's pretty much it.

Its doing nice. Its not as bad as people are saying it is. Its quite smooth for an unofficial build. Few UI bugs here and there(like lock screen clock text is cut out a bit) but otherwise a great build

Afaik if you use custom kernel then you will have fc and possibly no camara. I think stock kernel is needed. Sure I read that build uses different Mali drivers. If I'm wrong then sure someone will correct me
Plus don't expect support if your not using stock kernel

I apologize. I guess I must've missed the bit in my last post where I said this was brilliant and perfect.
Obviously there's some slight problems but compared to the first builds which CM normally release, it's brilliant.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

First time installing CyanogenMod 10.1 to your Galaxy S II, or coming from another ROM:
- Copy GApps and CM10.1 ZIPs to your internal SDCard
- Make sure you're NOT RUNNING A KERNEL WITH THE MMC-SUPERBRICK-BUG. If you're unsure, flash this ClockworkMod-Recovery using Odin/Heimdall.
- Make sure you're running a proper working ClockworkMod-Recovery
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM10.1 zip from internal SDCard
- Flash GApps zip from internal SDCard
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot)
- Reboot
- Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
- Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!
Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 10.1:
- Copy CM10.1 ZIP to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM10.1 zip from internal SDCard
- Reboot
Upgrading from CyanogenMod 10:
- Copy GApps and CM10.1 ZIPs to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM10.1 zip from SDCard
- Flash GApps zip from SDCard
- Reboot
- Wipe data of clock app
- Reset everything under Settings -> Date & Time otherwise editing alarms might cause FCs

The wifi driver is ported over from galaxy s4 sources and should fix the tethering issues.

Whats new!
Well for starters, the home screen has been spiced up with Trebuchet finally having some funky new transitioning effects Off the bat, you will notice this when you install the rom, its kinda like our leaked JellyBean effect But theres a whole lotta cool effects where that came from baby! Very cool, I like it! (Can be found in settings > launcher)
Secondly, my last build was built before the wifi-ap was incorporated as a tile, you can now turn wifi off and on from a tile (kinda pointless because you can do it from clicking on the wifi tile anyway, but still cool and useful in my opinion :cyclops
Thirdly (and this is cool) you can view your battery stat on the lock screen now (setting in display)
