3D Contact App v0.93B

New update available in market (Minecraft bug over)

3D Contact App is designed to replace the default contacts application that is included with you Android phone. It provides the same functionality as the default contact app but looks a lot slicker!

Features:
* 3D rotating contact cubes
* Ability to create and edit contacts
* Search for contacts
* Change background and cube colour
* Swipe actions to call/text a contact
* Ability to star contacts
* Bound search functionality to search key on phones with a search key
* A-Z slider to make it easier to jump to contacts
* View contacts using a 3D cube

This is sick dude!!!!... i got it running on CM 7 nightly 8.... its a little laggy... and i wish it had a txt option..i mean you can click email and send txt that way.. or click number and send text.. but would like it to have a txt field... like phone, email.. etc...

but other than that.. its outstanding!.. about to go show kats this !!!!

it forced closed 2 times by playing with the display settings. also a bit laggy.

but it is beta, plus i really like the idea and the way it looks and works.. so i am really positive about thiss app!

Thats what inspired the app yes, but none of their code is in the app. I'm proud to say its all my own code =)

In the process of playing with lighting models, and different motion models for it.

So does anyone have any suggestions or requests for this thing?

Oh, btw - in case you havent guessed, I'm the developer =)

Could you please send the logcat output either to myself or AzureNightwalker (above) so we can look into resolving this!

P.S. When you search for a name would be great if the contact list scrolls faster to that position instead of showing only the contact without moving the list.
In a visual app like this I think it´s better with movement. What do you think?

Very nice. Would like to be able to click on a contact and message as well.

Also, this is minor but if it was possible to make the default contact icon (no pic) the little green android instead of the current generic man, I think that would be a nice touch. Otherwise great job and look forward to seeing more.

hehe i wish i could understand how to do that.. i just though, i describe how and when it happens, maybe that they can search for the problem themselves.

but i dont understand anything about error-log's, sorry. great app tho'!

Love this app but turning off the 3D Rotation (rotating of boxes during scrolling) does not work on my Droid X.

on Sprint Epic 4G disabling 3d rotation does not disable either. would be nice to be able to push the search button on the phone as well, instead of having to press menu > search, dont know if its supposed to or not, but if it is it doesnt work on epic. Also would be nice to be able to have an image background, i.e stars or something instead of just colors. I would also like a txt option and agree with the person that said something about doing a speedy animation to the contact instead of just making it pop up. ill pm you with a diff icon for the app if i can think of one

its possible to scroll past (way past) the top and bottom of the list... makes sense to stop it or have some sort of rubber effect at the ends of the list.. also maybe some sort of animation similar to the touchwiz animation for the swipe commands. Also, as someone posted above I cannot turn off rotation either.
Other than that this is a cool app. maybe look to adw as for what kind of settings to be able to change animation wise (speed/elasticity).

+2..... instead of green.. how bout CM blue android~ wink....... ...and is there a way to make the background clear.??... transparent.... or maybe where we can set the opaqueness of it.... . in background colors?
