What else have you done to your phone? Have you rooted it and or attempted to install SafeStrap or anything?
FYI too... You only have to use Volume up+ Power.... No need for home key.
Once it vibrates are you letting go of the button combo? It you still can't seem to get into it I'd suggest just using Odin and the NC5 No Wipe so it loads your Recovery. IMG again.
