All the rooting guides for android use 'adb sideload'. I have the latest sdk, but there is no 'sideload' parameter.
It's not listed when I write 'adb --help', and it's not a hidden parameter either.

I've been searching on google, but it seems like nobody else have a problem, which doesn't make sense at all.

Thanks.

adb sideload was implemented in some stock recoveries a while back and works with the adb binary on PC. You need a capable recovery to use it which would be some of the latest stock e3 recoveries or newest cwm, twrp, etc

Yes it did in fact work when I was in the stock e3 recovery. Strange that is was not listed as an option for adb. My device is now routed, and I'm about the install Cyanogenmod. Thanks.
