Does anyone know if this would work one the Virgin Mobile USA model. It is a CDMA phone and the first page just said GSM is working so I just wanted to ask before I flashed. I know data is not working but I just want to know if I can make calls and text with it on my network.

Will try this out now.
Battery drain was the only reason I flashed another ROM.
Edit: Phone becomes unstable after applying fix. Takes time to reboot. Hangs up at random times.
Usually hangs when going to Settings>Battery.

How to download themes
Since the data isnt working and i dont have wifi, is there any way to download the theme on computer?

I can't see any improvement. Left the phone completely idle and it completely drained in about 18 hours. For comparison, the previous rom was lasting 4-5 days in complete idle.
I'll look at battery stats and try to isolate the culprit.

It was a cm7.x based ROM that I got from one of the threads in this forum, something named like icslunar (nothing to do with ics, just gb 2.3.7).
That's the only ROM I've installed in this phone (and the stock ROM existed for about an hour
), so not much field for comparison...Anyway, I don't care much for battery life and I just like the looks of this ROM way more than the cm.
Alas, I now see that betterbatterystats is not working with miui, and battery widget only partially, missing the partial wake lock statistics, so I don't know how to check what drinks the battery juice.. Any ideas? BBS gives a short message about a service not running before giving an empty, screen.

Battery life problem.
I've installed latest BetterBatteryStats (from here http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1179809) and what I can see is that the phone is 100% awake by "Android OS" and 50% of CPU total usage, thus it will hog the battery rather fast.
The phone is with the fix from a few posts above applied, and left idle (no wifi, no data of course, no games, no screen, nothing) so supposed to be in deep sleep.
There doesn't seem to be any app keeping partial wake locks (actually I don't have almost anything installed on this phone anyway).
The only thing that is suspicious is a kernel wakelock "msm_serial_hs_dma"- I have no clue or idea what this is, but it accounts for 50% of the time. Then, the android OS procees as mentioned above.
Assuming it could be a kernel related problem, is there one available for testing?

Just a minor -> major problem:
I can't seem to get the baseband to be read, therefore having no celluar network. Yes; Aspee's baseband fix for old baseband WAS flashed; bootloop and reflashed.
So is there a way I can get the older baseband (March 09 I think) to work with DOOZZZEDUI v4? More because I am not willing to upgrade the baseband; **** that.

Why don't you update your baseband?
No update baseband -> no MIUIv4
If you want a fix for old baseband, yes , we have another easy way: Use LGMDP tool and flash V20 Baseband
( It isn't update new baseband )And, there is a MIUI V4 WP7 Theme, it's MetroUI, search the online theme, i've used this theme on my Xperia Arc S
Ok i have tweaked build.prop now system is more smooth. With latest MIUI 2.3.9 you can apply most of the HDPI themes directly. It should work. Added miui music along with CM9 so you guys can use as per your wish. Trying to get data work. As soon as it get fixed you will have current build.
