thank you a lot!..now i think internet works fine now! ... but in the bar at the top, it doesnt show an H or 3g.. it just shows the signal strenght ... that's ok?

Hello Zackconsole thanks, downloaded and installedthe beta 6 the sim card pin option is now functional, i have to fix a theme because screens mix / knead,maybe you have removed the more localisation language italian included (it' s my language!) from previous beta (beta 5) italian not appair on the languages disponibles

Hi Zack very great work!! I try to install this last beta following the instructions you post .. I have an U8150 and CWM 5.0.2.8 .. I do all wipe ecc. ecc. and after more or less 1 minute during the installation it give to me "Random offset: 0x02b" or something similar

I try to do all another time but it doesn't work for me .. so when i power on this phone i can see the loading screen after the IDOES logo but i continue to see this screen and it doesn't load anything .. such in a "loop loading screen" if somebody have any idea

Little Fixes

Hey,i'm seeing that almost people are having issues with latest BETA.So i will put here some fixes that can be usefull
(i will make a flashable zip later,so it will be easy)

KeyBoard Issue:
Download Go Keyboard from the attachment and install it with file manager

Languages:
i will do a flashable zip if possible

Video Decoding (Partial)
Use MMX Video ARMv6 Codecs

Little improve performance
Go to Settings-->Developer Settings-->Disable Animation and transitions.Then enable Force GPU Rendering

Some Other Bugs:

Slow UI
There isn't any language that's not English and Chinese
WiFi Signal
USB Tethering not working
ADB Not Working

export EXTERNAL_STORAGE /mnt/sdcard

# create mountpoints
mkdir /mnt 0775 root system
mkdir /mnt/sdcard 0000 system system

# Backwards Compat - XXX: Going away in G*
symlink /mnt/sdcard /sdcard

hey zack thanks for giving us a miui rom on ideos.
i found a very annoying bug, the keyboard is not working , i cant get it to start.
i think the error is with speech input, can you look into it ASAP.
as i am without a rom currently.

Preparing USB storage - Checking for errors.

USB data never worked with MIUI ICS and U8150....and that's known.
I've tried (with latest Beta 6) to enable "USB Debugging" in developer options, but with no success...USB stil not working....BUT: the phone started to give me "Preparing USB storage - Checking for errors." in the upper notification bar. Whatever I disabled the "USB Debugging" in the developer options, that error still occurs and it's permanent after reboot (it's related to "System UI" task...and killing it means keeping the phone unusable). Did anyone experienced the same issue?

P.S. "A step behind" with Beta6 according to my opinion: missing languages, heavy (whatever disabling rendering options), unlocking dock is slow (and sometimes hangs) and above all RIL TELEPHONY REALLY UNSTABLE: often crashes in outgoing calls and when phone is "in standby" (= with LCD off) and an incoming call comes, the display won't turn on untill press the "central big button" on the phone..thus I can only hear the ringtone but can't see "who is calling"....U8150 should be a phone before being "a nice toy"....in my experience..

Open Root Explorer or File Expert and etc
Open data folder
Open system folder
Press Mount R/W
Make new folder
Name the new folder ''theme'' (without quotes)
Reboot your phone
Done, Now you can apply themes!
