[Q] TrevE mod connection fail when enabling wifi-encryption

I am able to tether to my laptop using TrevE-Mod but only if wifi encryption is NOT enabled. If i enable wifi encryption, it will not connect.

How do i make this work with wifi encryption? anyone have this problem?

my current settings is as follows:

Generic ics/jb wlan0
netd-ndc master
send netdmax "" checked
passphrase changed
ssid changed
channel 1
wifi driver reload 2 checked
routing fix checked

any help is appreciated. I am also using express vpn if that matters.

The version of Android would be helpful for this discussion. The rom name would be too. I assume you are on a T889...

running stock 4.1.2 (BMD1), on a rooted t889 with (MK7) radio.

Is your device type set to Samsung Galaxy S3? If not, try that.
