I'm still pretty new to the Xperia, but if the nandroid was made with the stock kernel; would you having the doomkernel installed cause your problems.

Just a question though, I want to try your Rom and help support, but I also have been wanting Cyanogenmod on my Verizon Play. They say unlocked bootloaders only though, in which I'm talking about FreeXperia. Was that posted before recovery could be installed on a locked bootloader or will my phone brick if I try to install that?
It won't work.

Cyanogenmod requires a different kernel than Stock, so it won't boot.

(you need an unlocked bootloader to install a new kernel)

how's the testing coming along to get this working with AT&T?

IT's not coming along
the guy who was supposed to help told me his phone is busted so he cant test.
I dont have a GSM phone so I obviously cant do testing.

I also have no idea what files contain the radio information to get it working. I asked him in a Private Message what ones he thought it was but he didn't reply to me. So right now I'm sitting here twiddling my thumbs because I'm at a brick wall.

OK, the OP says to make sure that we have CWM / Recovery installed. Well, I don't and I don't have an unlocked bootloader so how the heck do I get it installed? Next, how do I go back to the stock recovery if I ever need to for warranty reasons?

I didn't add the !s they were there :p
But since this is for r800x and your profile shows you're with at&t you should know that this ROM wont work for you.

Any fix?

Not yet.
Apparently google has some sort of deal with verizon that their phones have to be loaded with bloatware or it will cancel your google account on the market and not let you download anything

I'm looking for a solution.
Until I fix this I'm removing the rom download. Just wait till the new version is released

If I may ask, what is this in reference to? I have read that GTalk has to be installed for the Market to work. What else did you remove that you think would cause the problem?

This rom is just Verizon firmware debloated with some tweaks. The Verizon firmware had a little better ram management because Verizon didn't give users any splash of excitement in the firmware. You can create this for GSM users on your device with root explorer alone. Just flash stock firmware, strip it down to nothing besides the extreme bare essentials and good to go.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I might be getting a new motherboard soon.

A kind member has PM'd me and told me that they have a spare R800X board I could use for development.

    I'll keep you guys posted.

I've been sick recently so I've not been online.
Had a very bad virus and was running a fever.

Thankfully I am recovering and if I get this new board. Can continue development.

The cola rom is special ;). Did you check the internal space in this is rom? 330mb free internal space. More internal memory than most xperia play roms. I tried replicating cola on a stock 2.3.4. Debloating stock myself and the highest internal memory I got is 285. A big difference in my book. :/

Sent from my R800x using xda premium

330mb is nothing....Internal space can be made 376mb with the dalvik to cachemod ... ;)

After debloating you should have wiped /cache and /dalvikcache partitions and you will have 330mb free (and then 376mb after applying the dalvik mod)

Edit : the pictures were of the kernel build number, its mostly the same except for what is believed to be a difference in the ramdisk, so the 2.3.4 kernel will work on Cola :)
(I'm not 100% certain about wifi though)

I've been on holiday recently but I just wanted to let everyone know that soon I hope to be continuing new development on this project for GSM phones and other people.

I will be unlocking my boot loader as soon as possible to be able to make GSM development possible and will keep this update to all my loyal followers.

Thanks for the good feedbacks guys. I am working on it hard.
