Well, if doesn't work, I'll need the original wifi.conf, wpa_supplicant.conf and wpa_supplicant from CM7 A8... :S Could you upload them to your Mediafire, please :$ I'll reset them to original, and give another try.

I've reflashed ROM, wifi works on private networks, but the phone drops the signal when I turn off the screen even though wifi sleep policy is set to 'never'. grrrrrrr :D
BUT! I was able to use it, so it's a small succes :D

i'm glad you solved a bit ur problem;)...but why would it drop connection when screen turns off:confused:...

Maybe it's one of your build.prop tweaks that's resposible for this. If i remember, one of the battery saving tweaks on the build.prop tweaks thread turns your wifi off when you turn your screen off.

Try this:
edit: with root explorer mount system r/w then
open build.prop with text editor and remove this line:

ro.ril.fast.dormancy.rule=0

it's at the bottom of build.prop...just before hercolubus tweaks
save&exit
and reboot phone & try wifi again:)

I didn't change anything, just ticked the sleep policy to turn wifi off when screen is turned off, rebooted and set sleep policy to never, reboot, and seems to work now.
I'll try this, if signal drop happens again! :)

BTW, it's koko, not kako :D

EDIT: deleted that line, works fine so far!

EDIT 2: crap... no, it doesn't work... :( :D cooooooool :D

Has anyone else had issues with google books always fc?

I've tried clearing cache and uninstalling/reinstalling.

hmmm...tried to find them on play store...but couldn't find them:confused:...where did u get them?

    I made what i made. It's meant for me only, but because i'm nice guy....i decided to share it with you people:)....

    Flashing instructions:

    Same as in all other Roms...
    Flash with ODIN....in cwm wipe data & reboot....1st boot takes a while.
    And yeah...i'm not responsible in any way for any soft bricks, data loses or whatever happens to you while flashing my rom.

    Hybriddata2sd instructions:

    For hybriddata2sd to work you need to extract this Android.zip to root of your sdcard & overwrite files &reboot:p....(that's only in case if you don't have them allready)...now you can restore your apps:)...

    Help i can't download files larger then 32 mb?

    NOTE to all Hercolubus rom users: If it happens to you that you're unable to download file bigger then 32mb from Playstore use this method. (thanks to @bscraze for pointing it out & help;))...or simply follow this:
    Open Terminal Emulator:

    Do: mkdir /mnt/sdcard/market-download-cache

    hit enter

    it will create you a folder on sd...ignore setting permissions error it's ok:p
    now again in TE Do:

    su
    cd /cache
    mv download download.bak
    ln -s /mnt/sdcard/market-download-cache download
    ls -ahl

    hit enter

    you will get some lines with messages...when they stop exit TE and try d/l sth bigger than 32mb from playstore....it works!!!
    NOTE2: You need to repeat this procedure (last code) only if you wipe your cache partition!!!

    Hi peeps:)
    So it happened today, I've sold my Galaxy 3 and now i have only my S-II....and I hope anyone liked my work until the end came....so...I wont do anything for G3 anymore...but I'll check back sometimes if anyone will need any help or sth...;)
    So...Goodbye peeps and thanks to all g3 community with all knowledge i got here about Android...especially to: @Kyrillos13, @Hillbeast, and whole G3mod team...and ofcourse to @Marcellusbe for his hard work on CM7 port and other great stuff.

    Ok guys: Hercolubus rom v 2.7 OC is uploaded to dev host;)...from my galaxy S-II:p....changelog will be added later on...and I'll have to make a hotfix with some sysem apps updates as they were updated while i was packaging current version....
    NOTE: You will have to wipe data after installing new version...otherwise you'll be flodded with a bunch of FC's....

    And really if u peeps like my work, please consider a donation....i'm saving for my Super AMOLED plus with gorilla glass which was accidentally broken on my S-II 2 weeks ago....Thx;)
