finally got back to recovery glad someone tested this rom out before releasing.....

it was tested on a t0ltecdma before releasing by someone friendly to the team who has one. it booted, called, all of that without issue. my understand is that this is a known issue on the t0 platform and just part of the transition process to an AOSP rom.

Firstly, thanks for sharing this. Even if not working, so glad the Liquid team is developing for our device.

I tried again and definitely followed all directions carefully. Still stuck at the boot animation. The CM 10.1 unofficial ROM boots fine, so it's not a 4.2 AOSP thing. It's specific to this ROM not booting.

+1 Very much appreciated! I'll try it out as well. Can always reflash my backup.

Hey OP, just might want to shout sbrissen for his work. I know you shouted out codeworkx who has done a lot but sbrissen has pulled most of the weight for us CDMA guys. Just saying :)

Edit: Oh and idk if this is what you did but you cant just port the rom frm t0lte and what works for VZW will not work perfectly for SPR and vice versa.

yeah, that's what i'm learning. we're working on it. the very talented sbrissen has shed some light on the specifics of the device that should help quite a bit. i'm gonna pull the builds for now and hopefully post a new build soonish. it's tricky to dev for a device you've never held. there's been a lot of dodgy info.

I haven't tried the ROM. Just expressing my joy to have another dev team working on this device. :)

we may need to hold off until we can get a device to dev with. i'm not sure at this point. if i had the cash i'd probably sell my s3 and get a used one, to be honest.

Scott of ScottsRoms (cleanrom ace 4.0.5) may have ideas as his rom runs on all carriers, hence the ACE designation. all carrier edition. His rom that runs great on verizon uses international base l4. I do not know, but you may wanna ask him for help on this multi carrier issue... User name i scrosler.

That's touchwiz. Whatever he's doing won't work in this case.

Please feel free to look at and use our code on LiquidSmooth GitHub.

We would like to thank CyanogenMod for their device trees, framework/settings mods and their code that was incorporated into this project. We also extend our gratitude to AOKP and Xylon for parts of their code that we have incorporated.

A huge shoutout to sbrissen, codeworx and kejar31 for their work on the t0 platform!

Big thanks to Kejar31 for his work on the mic fix!

Special thanks to our friends Imoseyon and Franco for their kernels as well!

While we make every effort to test these builds as much as possible, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your device, family, pets, or perception of reality. We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash!

Downloads of our LiquidSmooth can be found on our goo.im page or in the goomanager app. You can find us by browsing to liquidsmooth or by searching for compatible roms for your device. Just about any Google Apps package for JB 2.1 should work, though we've provided a link below if needed. Suggested GApps are linked right in goomanager as well. Goomanager will now notify you of upcoming LiquidSmooth updates as well!

If downloading via the goo.im page, please be sure to know which device you are using prior to downloading. All files are listed according to the specific device code name. We cannot be responsible for what happens if the wrong files are flashed to your device! We recommend using the goomanager app and searching for a compatible rom if you are unsure.

thanks everyone. it sounds like we have a confirmed boot! hope to have a proper build out very soon.

OP updated. You guys get 3.2 before anyone else. Thanks for waiting so patiently!

Anyone have problems receiving some calls? A few times when I answered calls yesterday, I couldn't hear the other person at all. I tried turning screen on/off a few times to see if that would do anything during one of those calls, and the earpiece made an ugly and very loud, brief static sound. Subsequent calls were received with no problems.

the audio subsystem has been completely redone for our phone on AOSP since this release of this build.. NoCoast and myself implemented the update into Liquid yesterday and I am running a build with it now. No Coast said he would be making an official build sometime today or tomorrow with the fixes for you guys.
