Try doing a factory reset. If that doesn't fix it, flash the stock ROM again.

How come when i downloaded Lg optimus V virgin mobile (LGVM670) SoftWare it downloaded as wdb and wdh files? KDZ cant read those file so do you have any other ideas of how instead of kdz files it came out wdh and wdb.

I'm trying to downgrade my LG Optimus One (Koodo) to 2.2 but the link seems to be dead? Unless I'm doing this wrong ...

It's possible in the future, but nobody will bother as we'll move on to Android v2.3.
Rooting is possible only after downgrade. You can use a program called KDZ and you need an original firmware image. You will find all the answers and guides on this forum, you just have to search.

It's not confirmed, but you can also try V10x for new version of firmware. Maybe it will work, maybe not.

If above not working as you expected, you can take a look on communication between client-server.
1) Download and install membrane-monitor
2) Configure it as proxy (LG client gets configuration from your default browser, so just set your browser to connect through membrane-monitor)
3) Turn on filter on lg server (create rule for filtering *lgmobile.com*)
4) Start client
5) Watch messages between client and server. If your LG client works fine, you can get download link for your latest firmware.
