If you guys are having trouble follow these steps. Before flashing do factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik. Flash ROM, and do all wipes again. Flash gapps and do all wipes again and then boot normally.

so i was having this boot screen flashing issue, but left my phone for 10 to see what happens, it had actually booted. and now everything works like a charm, except I still get this flashing when I reboot. I am using TWRP as my recover. I did all the steps you mentioned when I installed anyway so havent installed again as I dont want to resetup everything.

so I ended up factory resetting, clearing all memory, reinstalling and leaving the phone to settle for about 10 mins. it now works, although I still get this flashing of the boot screen and no animation, just wait until you see the soft buttons flash and the rom is ready to use.
no idea why! just thought i'd let you know to be patient and see if that helps.

does anyone know if you can make photosphere work? when I try and use it I get a message saying the N7105 is not supported...

I am having the same issue as he is now.
I am trying to flash back to stock rom for now, hope my phone didn't brick :/
tried and tried again...
started from scratch... stock, then root, then CMW...
clear Data, clear Cache clear Dalvik Cache.
1- Flash this rom, flash Gapps.. reboot... flashing screen then black..

im getting irretated because i normally nerver have problems when flashing roms... but this one i can't get my head around...

Choose another kernel with r3p0 lsi video driver, you'll have the bootanimation back and your flashing screen is history. Google r3p0 lsi note 2 you'll find a kernel.
@ManelScout4Life, thx for great work! I'm really pleased that you brought us PA!
Please have a look to that issue, there's something wrong with the included kernels video driver!

It seems to only be an issue for some on International version. There are no issues with this ROM on the USA models even though they should be identical.

is anyone else noticed the issue with the clock? I use my phone as an alarm clock.
last night I noticed that as the minutes tick over, they sit on top of each other so after a while you end up with a mess on the screen where the numbers all stack up....
by no means a deal breaker, but could be handy if it could be fixed.

My note is from vodafone germany. I've this issue with rootbox, cm10.1 and so on, too. The kernel i use has different versions for international, att, t-mobile...

just downloaded and installed, cannot get my phone to boot any more
I get the samsung screen, it still flashes but then nothing on the screen...
the soft buttons light up if I press them, but no ROM!
in my eagerness to update I didnt nandroid the last build! #smackself!
I have tried to reflash the 1102 ROM ove the top but still cannot get the phone to boot...
looks like a factory reset for me! grrr... I had just got it all setup and working nicely too!

The settings are enabled by checking expert mode in tools in Hybrid Settings

Flashed this ROM. Everything seem fine but the signal can't pass 1 bar,WiFi can't pass 2 bar.
Tried a few modem but same still. Great ROM tho!

AOSPA for legacy devices (non-nexus) is still in progress. Consider this build as a early preview.

You should use TWRP and always wipe system

BE WARNED, 4.2.0 is not the most bugless android, the issues are known.

The complete toggle implementation has been redone from scratch, of course using +CyanogenMod 's splendid sources. It wasn't such a good idea to refactor it, we had this and that extra feature at the expense of staying up to date. Again, toggles apply to all four UI's: Phone, Phablet, Tablet and PIE.
A new toggle to switch seamless between fullscreen/PIE & normal desktop mode. Who doesn't hate pressing the powerbutton. Its such a simple little detail, why didnt we do that earlier ....
A new option to prevent PIE from restarting your launcher. That's the wee blackout you see when switching between modes. It still defaults to ON, because it is a safety measure against crazy launcher screw-ups. You can switch it off if you can deal with it, but don't come to us crying when your launcher messes up. (-;
New SuperUser updates thx to +Koushik Dutta - more detailed descriptions on his channel. Minor PIE style changes + performance and optimization tweaks.
