For what it's worth, 4.2.2 seems to resolve the Google now/services/network location issue that was affecting my deep sleep.

On 4.2.1 with network location enabled, I would get deep sleep of approximately 50%. With network location disabled I would get 80+%.

With 4.2.2 I now get 80+% with network location enabled and Google now enabled.

Very pleased with 4.2.2.

I got an update from one of the official Google support forum threads from their developers reporting that they found the bug causing the random reboots and it was related to the location notification service interfering with the activity manager and parcel() method routines. They said it is fixed in v4.2.2 the cause of the random reboots. (hopefully). Here is cut and paste to the links:
Seems to be fixed in 4.2.2. Look here:

For some reason i cant flash the OTA. It keeps giving me

set_perm: some changes failed
E:Error in /sdcard/download/6ece895ecb23.signed-nakasi-JDQ39-from-JOP40D.6ece895e.zip
(Status 7)
full stock+root
Sounds like a bad download. Try d/l the file to a computer, verify the md5 checksum, copy to N7, try again.

Still not out here in the UK, I couldn't wait any longer so i sideloaded the update, QbKing77s video Tutorial came in really handy, thanks for the post DMardroid, I don't know if its placebo but it does seem a little snappier.

[Stock 4.2.2/ Unrooted/ Locked Bootloader.]

Thanks for this tip. I've just followed it as I was bored of waiting.

This is the first device I have not rooted straight away.......

So what would be the best route to update to 4.2.2 if I'm currently on cm10.1 and don't have a nandroid backup of stock?
