ok out of all the cases here that where modded mine indeed looks the best for design you dont even notice the battery in the case as ive been told by multiple people and also people are wanting to buy my case. haha i did a good job on it. you guys did a good job on yours aswell but mine tops the HTC EVO 3D Extended batterycase Competition.

Have a nice day!

Peace ;/

The battery is okay. Its not the full fledged 3500mah battery due to it was only 20 bucks but in just upgraded to pseudo 4000mah which I cannot complain at all I love it!

Just now got the otterbox n extended battery today. About to attempt a reproduction of your design.

Edit: Success finally got a case on this baby. This was a great idea.

zachdees, Lperez6485, I like the design you guys used. There's just one thing I don't get. Did you cut the stock back plate of the phone? If not, how does the phone chassis sit inside the chopped OtterBox without moving?

I wish I had taken photos as I was making the mods, but I didn't think about it. However, all you really have to do is SLOWLY cut out the back of the cover with a dremel tool.

    *edit*

Oohaylima - if you were planning on using the 3500mah battery, then you don't have to dremel out the inside of the holster or cut the rubber on the case, bcuz I didn't have to when I had my 3500, but that battery didn't work as well as the Seidio 4000. I was trying to save a few bucks by buying the cheaper battery but in this case, you really do get what you pay for.
