Upgraded to this version coming from GB HyperSense 1.5. Very nice. Luving it so far.

I have a Wifi issues though. WiFi is all over the place, constantly dropping/reconnecting and in some parts of the house, no signal at all. I am on FW 3.32 & Radio 11.69.3504.00U_11.22.3504.07_M.

Battery is also draining fast. Went to bed y'day night at 100% and the phone was off this morning (drained overnight). 1.2 was stable though. I have already wiped the battery stats through CWM.

Any pointers that may help resolve.

Hi I flashed your new 1.3 today. I still can't get over the fact how much this phone sucked before, that good old i9000 is definitely staying in the miscellaneous drawer now.

One issue tho, my browser force closes when doing a 'web search' a.k.a. 'find on page'.

Can anyone confirm? Thanks!

Kristof,

that fixed hotspot FC. Wifi calling works as well, however it is a little buggy

You also may use an app called Facebook contact Sync

So I thought it was only with games in the market but even basic apps are showing up as incompatible with my device. Can anyone confirm.

Update for HyperNonSense v1.3

- Update: New Gallery from Google, with working Settings menu
- Fix: APM now fully works (when enetering reboot menu) - thanks to wxdjs for the fix!
- Fix: WIFI Hotspot patch now really makes WIFI Hotspot work!
- Possible fix: MMS uploads might be fixed (have not tested it myself)

Just reboot into recovery and flash without wiping.

FaceBook sync patch for HyperNonSense.

I finally found a working Contacts app that has both Facebook sync working AND a T9 dialer. Thanks to roman for the excellent AOKP initative.

You can download the patch HERE.

Just reboot into recovery and flash without wiping.

This will definately be in v1.4, but I know some of you guys really need this in the meantime.

Are you using the included kernel or a different one? The new update is super smooth but a lot of apps are showing incompatible still.

How is this ROM compared to other sense-included ROMS considering the battery life ?

I'm currently on 1.2, i think i'll wait for 1.4 since things are running smooth.

Kristof, if possible, fix the part with sending an SMS from Call History - new message window opens but it doesn't take automatically the number.

The SMS from call history is a tough one... I know what the error is, but I have absolutely NO clue what to do about it...

    I believe that our Sensation can do a lot more / be a lot faster / and therefore we can be more productive than with the Sense ROMs.

    CM7 for the Sensation is not there yet, so without further ado, I present a ROM with Sense, but with everything working that is needed (excellent Camera, SD card speeds just fine, etc)

    I also like to customize my own apps in a given ROM, so any simple/minimalistic ROM is a plus for me.

    I therefore present to all who like this approach my very own HyperNonSense ROM release, built from scratch by me.

    1. When you are finished setting up the device, do a normal reboot and then you will have normal operations!
    3. I have deleted a number of apps so that the ROM can be as lean and minimalistic as possible. If you find you need any apps that I have deleted, go to post #3 (Addons and Extras) and you will most likely find the app you need there! :)

    Dear All,

    It is with a very sad heart that I am writing this message.

    It has been an excellent few months now with a great crowd here at XDA and I have grown very attached.

    But life is changing, and so are the circumstances. I will be moving to a new company, a new job, but most of all, even a new country. Hence I can not keep maintaining the XDA threads, the ROM, or even cooking/devving.
