Just a notice for new/curious users.

The Alpha tag doesnt mean its unstable, it just means i am modding it as we speak.
Once i have done all modifcations personally the rom will be re uploaded as beta.
After that release it takes a whole lot of system apk theming before i release it as final.

So alpha is as stable as beta or final.
I dont release buggy roms.

Implemented Stock as well as Alliance Theme in one ROM, so simply choose what theme you want to boot before flashing. So new script in the ROM and a new config for ROM Customizer. If you select the ROM via ROM customizer you will be presented with the option to flash with alliance theme or simply untick for stock.

A lot of work done on making the stock theme look better with the toggle MOD

Warning!!! You DON'T need to WIPE when installing OTA Update zips through Rom Customizer!! If you chose Wipe, you WILL be stuck in a boot loop!! Only use WIPE when flashing a ROM or if the ROM Developer has specifically asked you to do so.

Q) Custom Settings crashes!! OMG! Can’t find custom setting update in OTA list!!!

A) Download and Install and enable ‘FingerInk –Lockscreen Torch’ or ‘FingerPenInk-Lock screen Torch’.

Q) How do I enable the torch? I already downloaded and installed it!!

A) Settings>Alliance Rom Settings>Custom Settings>Choose Modifications>Choose’n’Tweak Lockscreen>LockScreen Torch

Q) How do I use the torch now?

A) Go to a dark room, press and hold the Home button while you are on your lock screen. Repeat in a deep growly voice... "Let there be light!!"

Q) Can I use xyz kernel with this rom?

A) NO! The rom comes with its own kernel and we would suggest you not to change the kernel.

Q) But Philz kernel is awesome?

A) Of course it is. But we have seen users having problem with this rom and Philz kernel. So we would advise you not to install it.
On top of that our kernel is almost exactly the same as PhilZ both stock kernel with custom initram. We will eventually supply a choice between cwm and twrp if the need is there but TWRP will be the way to go

Q) Hydracore then?

A) Please read the above two questions and their answers.

Q) Am stuck at Installing Additional Apps for 5 mins!!

A) You flashed the rom via recovery instead of Rom Customizer. If you are stuck at Installing Additional Apps, most likely the core rom has finished installing successfully. Restart your device, update SuperSU and Rom Customizer. (Make sure you update SuperSU binary by launching it once after you update via Play Store). Give Rom Customizer its Root access if it asks for it, re-flash the rom again now through Rom Customizer, and choose to wipe in the flashing option screen. Choosing not to install Samsung Apps will give you a blazing fast Rom. You can always add any system app/Samsung app you need later through Rom Customizer.

Q) How to get 240 dpi?

A)not yet available for xxlsz/// Flash the 240 dpi update from Alliance Rom Update (through Settings or Rom Customizer)

Q) How do I go back to 320dpi?

A) Flash back to 320ddpi update from Alliance Rom Update (through Settings or Rom Customizer)

Q) How to get the circular battery icon?

A) Settings>Alliance Control>Custom Settings>Choose Modifications>Status bar Tweaks>Theme able Battery>Enable

Q) I want to display some more stuff on my Status Bar!

Q) I want more fonts!!

A) Rom Customizer>Old Alliance OTA>Packages>83 Fonts. Download and install that. Then go to Settings>Display>Font Style to set your font. It will take few seconds to load all the 83 fonts.

Q) I can't find app X which is usually pre-installed as a stock/base system app?

A) Rom Customizer>Manage System Apps>Un-installed> Install from that list there.

DONT IGNORE CHECKING THE CHECKSUM , JUST DO IT !!

HOW TO FLASH ?

Coming from a AOSP ROM (AOKP/CM/PA/whatever) get to a rooted stock TW ROM first, so flash stock via Odin and root it with a kernel.
Flashing another Custom ROM will not help clean your phone

Rooted stock/custom TW ROM:

Flash via ROM-Customizer
1. Put the ROM on external or internal storage
2. New and improved noob proof install script. Choose the rom via flash file from sd in rom customizer and u will be presented with a flash configurator.
I will always advise to tick wipe
Light ROM whatever

Make your own and choose one of these combos via the rom config
- with samsung and google apps
- without samsung with google
- with samsung without google
- without samsung and google

NEW NEW NEW....CHOOSE BEFORE FLASHING WHAT THEME U WANT THE PHONE TO BOOT WITH VIA THE ROM CONFIG.

its stock for now

I only added some usefull build.prop tweaks and some init.d tweaks for better performance , battery preservation , old skool mass storage etc.
Will start modifying once people are up and running.
Theming will be mostly the same as it is in AOSP, the dropdown menu however willl get a slightly different look aimed towards aokp look.

Is there anyway of running 240dpi on this or is it still in the pipeline, joosh3 has a 240dpi cwm flash on xxls2 and wondered if it would work.

You can click different mirror in the download window i nsourceforge and see if that works
