This also work for AT&T Galaxy Note ICS:

APN: wap.tracfone
Port: 8080

Leave other fields blank.

Notice this is the same settings for TMObile. The APN settings from Net10 activation card doesn't work for me.

Stock rom okay your going to need a GSM rom for now ill check that out and which ics are you on sene 4.0 or 3.6

I am rather intrigued by this subject, because I do sometimes travel to other countries. Not very often, less than once per year.

My wife has an iPhone 4s which is an official Verizon global phone. From the latest ruu leak, the rezound will soon be joining the list.

With a Verizon global phone, one can automatically roam on CDMA and GSM networks at a cost of $2 per minute or more depending on the country. This seems like a lot but I think one can call the USA without any long distance charges.

An alternative is to use a GSM ROM along with a SIMM from a cell company in that country. But, what will it cost to call the USA?

Another variable us the length of travel. My last trip abroad was just for a weekend. Arrived on Friday afternoon and flew home on Monday morning.

Perhaps a GSM ROM SIMM coupled with Skype or Google Voice is more economical?

Anyways, I probably think about this more than it is worth.

On the subject of APNs, I ran across a free app which can load any of 1100 APNs depending on ones location.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tweakkericsbeta

It does not seem to live up to its claims, because when I run it the only choice seems to be Verizon apn.

For NET 10 using att phones this works best on ICS
hope there is no confusion. The internet does work with the listed apns before but internet becomes very sporatic and may have to be reset.

This also works very well for Redpocket as well just name apn to Redpocket and the mms proxy to rpmobileweb instead of tracfone.

The proxy setting only helps the MVNO, in this case NET10. They can and do use it to throttle certain types of data transfer. One specific type that I've experienced is that the android speedtest.net app will not function with this proxy setting in place. You can delete the proxy setting without ill effects on your cellular signal and, among other benefits, the speedtest.net app will once again work. YMMV.

Now that my S-off guide for linux is done im going to do this one next...i gotta mock up some images and write up some more stuff...i want to make a very thorough and detailed guide so no mistakes are made in the process....as the procedure is a critical one
    2

Try this for AT&T sim. Everything works for me but receiving MMS:

    Name: net10
    APN: tfdata
MMSC: http//mms-tf.net <---xda says no <:> in the http
    MMS Proxy: mms3.tracfone.com
    MMS port: 80
    MCC: 310
    MNC: 410
    APN type: default,mms,supl

You might try leaving the MMS Proxy setting blank. I couldn't send or recieve MMS until I left that line totally blank.

I'm running on【ROM】【4.3.1】【UNOFFICIAL】CarbonRom【10-19-13】with T-Mobile LTE 500mb (I'm mostly on Wifi) and have Everything working Talk, Text, SMS, MMS, Data (Although it's only running on "Edge").

So anyone still working on trying to get anything other than Edge on the device with T-Mobile I'm open for testing for this is just my backup device/Till Nexus 5 is released device! :D
@REV3NT3CH has this working... My attempts were all on AT&T's network and unsuccessful. I am sure he can assist you in setting this up better than I can.
