im assuming 3d games dont work with this rom? tried rise of glory and it just fc. but on aokplay it worked.
There is an annoying bug that I have come across on all ICS roms...
As you can see, the brightness toggle icon in the status bar keeps showing the auto brightness icon! It makes it hard to tell what the brightness actually is
^proof that auto brightness isn't selected in the toggle settings
See? It thinks auto brightness is on, so it won't let me enable long pressing on the status bar to change the volume :'(

Erm, is it just me or when on a phone call in-call volue is really low? Cant hear what the other line is saying, put it on loudspeaker but still can hardly hear, tried various sims, same problem, flashed stock & its working, so i flashed this again, same problem consists

Yea, unfortunately these issues are both currently common across all CM9 based ROMs
Super excited for this, I just have one quick question:
Since this is based off CM9, how is the gamepad, to anyone who has already flashed this? I've only seen 2 posts on it the whole thread and there wasn't really much information (one guy asked and got no response, another posted something about how the circle button was back in-game or something), so if someone wouldn't mind fleshing out a bit on that subject it'd be much appreciated.

the gamepad works good. fpse and n64oid works with touchpads. and for others use joystick app to configure touchpads its just not working in mc3 for me though
Games work pretty well with gamepad. Even gta3 too bad it locks up the phone though. Games that don't work use joystick 6 from play store. Works good on dead space after setting up all buttons on joystick 6

Playing videos on it will not work (Sony ICS uses proprietary hw decoder, we use opensource omx) but you could still use it

What is PlAyOSP?
PlAyOSP is an AOSP ROM for the Xperia Play (hence the name) and is built on top of CyanogenMod 9. PlAyOSP has some features not yet merged into CM, and some features from AOKP such as custom operator text.
So this is CM or AOKP?
Not necessarily, it is based on CM, and is more CM than it is AOKP. The difference is, if a hacky fix is submitted to CM, it is likely not to get merged. On the other hand, I will push it to my sources until a proper fix surfaces. Please do not use the CM bug reporter for this ROM.
Why is CMStats still there?
Because this is built on CM, it is only fair not to remove it. I have left all stuff for CMStats to function correctly. Consider this a KANG.
What features have you added that are not yet merged/not available in CM?
- Enable navigation bar at runtime.
- Change Recent Apps style at runtime, choices are, Sense 4 style, stock style and WEBOS style.
- Customise the navigation bar (not yet merged into CM) - allows you to rearrange buttons on the navigation bar.
- Custom operator text - change the operator text to anything you like - reboot if it does not apply correctly
- Change navbar height and width at runtime.
- Whole framework is themed (not yet merged into CM).
More features will come as CM and AOKP are updated.
Also, please post bugs for this ROM on this thread.
General Features:
- Theme chooser - whole framework theming - you can use any CM9/AOKP themes built for the theme chooser.
- Lockscreen customisation - add/remove and change up to four lockscreen shortcuts.

Change operator name to a custom string
Enable navigation buttons (on screen buttons) dynamically - this was something VERY important for me to do as originally it was hard coded into a config. Now it isn't, and so you can enable it and disable it whenever you want without rebooting
Merged CM functionality to change lock screen shortcuts, use up to 4 custom ones :
Merge AOKP boot sound - didn't seem to work but I'll fix it.
Stuff to do:
Merge ability to change recent apps style.
Merge navigation bar customization when they are pushed to CM.
And more stuff when I think of it

I mean no desrespect, but at leat some screen shots.
I´m really waiting for some CM9 themed (with low hope like a Sony) or anything else.
