Need to Know:
This ROM is for someone like me to use VS980 on T-Mobile network.
Not responsible for anything! Use at your own risk!
If you are using Verizon, not T-Mobile, this ROM is not for you!

Why VS980?
* It looks better
* Cheap on Ebay / Amazon
:)420$ with almost new condition, still have warranty on it & we can get replacement.
:)I just got replacement, because my headphone jack wasn't working.
* GSM support work out of box
* Wireless charging support out of box
* So why not!

Features:
* Base on new update from T-mobile
* All T-mobile Stock features
* Rooted
* Busybox
* Loki patched

Highlights:
* Better signal
* LTE - fixed
* GPS - fixed
* Wi-Fi calling -fixed
* Rotation - fixed

How-to?
*Note: Backup before flash, please.
1. Download Rom, copy it to the phone.[sideload won't work]
2. Reboot into recovery
3. Wipe data / factory reset
Wipe cache partition
4. Flash Rom
4. Wipe Cache / Dalvik
5. Enjoy!

This is great!, I also use my Verizon on T-Mobile , does LTE really works tho or HSPA+ ?
Been on Carbon and CM roms, Gonna try out stock thanks to this!

Um, because this is the Verizon G2 section and this rom is for the Verizon g2...its doesnt magically turn into a tmo g2 just because you run it on tmos network, although that would be nice cuz the back buttons would b easier to hit and the ugly vzw branding on the front would b gone lol. Anyways great job op its great to finally have a stock option for people that use this phone on tmo, also the lte is band 4 correct? Is that the only band tmo uses or is it more a ymmv type deal depending on your location?

Tmos LTE is all on the AWS spectrum band 4, so the VZW G2 will get LTE anywhere tmo has currently deployed it. They will eventually deploy on band 12 (years away) from the big 3 billion dollar spectrum purchase from Verizon recently. You will only get hspa+ though in only areas where they have refarmed 1900 MHz network.

Am I to understand that the Verizon G2 has support for Tmobile's LTE network but not AT&T's? Was wondering if someone could make an AT&T version to use with Straight Talk.

PS. Corrupt zip as well. WinRar states that phonesky.app is corrupt. Please re-up. Thanks.

correct, Verizon G2 is able to use tmobile LTE if in a re-farmed area, like me :D

    I think it's useful here as well as I am a Verizon user but use T-Mobile at times on my Verizon phones. none of which had fully functional Wi-Fi calling.
