Fe16 all the way
And today I got 11 hours with 2hrs and 46 mins screen time. All syncs on including Facebook and a 15 min call
Will there be a fix. So when trying to dl from play store were I don't have to unmount sd card just to dl app

What I do with ALL ICS Roms is flash everything I need then last I flash the STOCK kernal and just run that and I have never had problems with any apps not installing. And when u want to flash something just mobil odin my FD02 kernal or the EL26 kernal. Works like a charm!!
Anyway to remove the select imput method in notification bar when the keyboard is open..

Love this ROM but I was wondering if someone could tell me how I can flash a different modem on it, when I go into recovery it only shows certain zip files from my SD card...also any tips on battery life improvements? I tried mobile Odin and it is saying this phone isn't supported..thanks in advance.
What you can do say if you are on the Plus kernel is rename the modem zip to something like FE16_Update_modem.zip. Basically add the "FE16_" in front and it should show up

As said before you cannot flash other roms over ICS, it has no custom recovery as of now. you must flash/odin back to stock EL29/EL26, root with CWM then flash the appropriate ICS rom through there.

Bump.
I tried removing all the other keyboards but got stuck on trying to get rid of google voice typing, generally if you have one keyboard installed, that wont show up, but i guess as of now thats part of the "ease of use" on ICS.
I am getting the same thing....can't get it to save new events I create thru s voice. i click save but doesn't show up in my calendar....any ideas?
Ditto across multiple ROMS, no saving of calendar items.
I winder if we need the calendar app from the s3 or if its missing a lib file.
Any care to post a link to the entire s3 rom?

I'm going to give this another chance for the day... since a 3 day weekend is around the corner i want to know what to stay on either this or my daily driver.
I jumped after having issues with this prior hoping all the SIII tweaks are worth it.
I read on some posts that s voice might not save certain items as it needed some framework items from the s3 touchwiz launcher... Don't hold me to that but sounds logical since some items might have diff locations etc. than what we have.

Not real reassuring when even after installing from a blank rom and installing all updated stuff that S Voice doesn't respond, camera sound is still present not sure I want to stay just because I like a few item's.

). Now comes with CApps and NApps along with RApps.zip update packages. Caulkulins Camera and MMS. New "S Voice" patch *(comes as an update package now)* revised by Mijjah74 and ecooce, (removes old voicetalk and vlingo.apks and adds all support files),BEATS audio by Dre, new version includes Google Play with Beats theme, SGS3 sounds/ringtones... First, I nor any Team ERA member will take responsibility for any damage that may or may not follow after flashing this ROM or any ROM add-on's. We are here to help though, Enjoy!
Some of you may remember the Frankenstein ROM series from a team member named ecooce, well he wanted to share his side project of an FF02 ROM, Frankenstein's FIFO2...
This ROM is deodexed and based on FE22 with many many tweaks. Built with battery in mind, this ROM surely is not slow, and actually is snappy in every area. If any of you see a problem please post in this thread and I or a team member will be happy to help. Your probably wondering why you havnt seen ecooce around, well he is still banned, the reasons dont matter, just know he can see this thread and can provide help by relaying the info between team members.
So onto the goodies and what comes with the ROM. There will be the main ROM that can be ran as is, there will also be several update.zips that can be flashed in recovery (el26 for now to be safe, which needs to be odined,mobile odin is fine), Rapps (removed apps) and more will be available as requests come in. There may be more as requests are takin.
Since this is a leak the team will not be adding in backup/restore capabilities until ICS is official on the Epic Touch.

Install instructions.
No matter what ROM your running, it is recommended to Odin/MobileOdin the EL26 kernel (providing soon), wipe system, wipe dalvik cache, wipe cache, now you can install the rom and any add-on you may want.
If you decide you dont want, say the NAV bar mod, reflash the EL26 kernel, then flash "disable NAV mod" then reflash the FE22 kernel.zip provided.
