i was running lighting 1.6 now i am in recovery did everything wipe format and when i click install from sd it dont do anything something comes up and vanish very fast and nothing happens

Try doing this, re-flash Litening rom again to your device, then, flash Dlev's rom, without doing a format or wiping or anything, if it works, you can do the wiping and such afterwards :)

That is what i did, cause i had few issues when i 1st flashed Dlev's rom, so i went to Litening and back to Dlev now, i can not guarantee you that this method will work for you too, not take any responsibility, but eh, you can always try :D

What i did to fix this issue was doing another Format + Wipe , then rebooted my PC, and plugged my SGS2 again :) see if that works :)

I have no problem with wifi tethering, check and see if you have your correct APN in the device. If you don't have them, call your provider for it, if you do have them, i suggest you delete them n create new APNs.

This ROM is great!

One request though... Can you make the notification buttons scrollable, just like in cyanogenmod and JKay's themes?

I'm not a huge fan of the scrollable, but I could look into make a 6 icon un-scrollable. I did that with my Captivate ROM if you wanna see pictures of that.

New Bugs and Fixes section on post 2.

I hope y'all continue enjoying the ROM.

Ill add this to OP this is my fault im sorry :D!

All you gotta do is coming from another ROM or even first time flashing:

1. Put ROM on internal SD Card
2. Boot into CWM (if you do not have CWM flash a kernel with CWM embedded via Odin
3. Wipe Data Factory Reset
4. Wipe Cache Partition
5. Install ROM from Sd Card
6. Reboot

No worries im patient haha.

Well to get CWM if you dont have it download Ninphetamine version 2.1.3 Release Edition TAR file for Odin/Heimdall/CWM app. from here

You will get a tar file.

Then Im assuming you have Odin correct? If so what you'll do is put that tar file in the PDA slot in odin.

And the only things that should be clicked in the top right are AUTO REBOOT, and F RESET TIME. If any Re Partition or Flash Lock are ticked un tick those immediately.

Then once all that is set correctly.

Click start, and let it do its thing, it will reboot.

Now you are rooted and have CWM.

To access CWM. Power the phone down. And at the same time, hold the volume UP, home, and power button at the same time.

That will get you into CWM.

Then just continue with the steps.

Love the green colour scheme. Cheers once again.

Im trying really hard to add a 6th toggle while still maintaining the green and black look and feel.

But if you dont mind the mismatching theme, you'd just drop the SystemUI.apk from the system/app from a ROM that has the 6th data toggle, and overwrite the SystemUI in the system/app of my ROM with root explorer or something of the sort

The 58.8 MB one that is to obtain the Samsung Apps and Wdigets that I did not include in the ROM.

Im confused as to what your asking? The ROM is the larger 200+MB download thats labeled Version 1.0 in post 2.

I have tried the rom and I feel it is quite fast.. However with the transitions installed I tend to feel my phone is very slow.. Is there anyway to remove the transitions?
I have tried to manually edit the framework apk and delete the transitions animations folder and placing it back into the system but I get alot of fcs even after few reboots.. Using spareparts to disable the transitions means I have disable the default transitions too.. Very sad that I have to nandroid back to my old rom...

    AMAZING GUIDE BY ZEROXTREME

I PMed Dlev for permission to post this guide, and he gave me his blessing. :)

This guide will help users to:

    1. Install DlevROM2 1.0/1.1/1.2
    2. Reinstall the CWM App and Chainfire's custom recovery
    3. Remove the yellow warning triangle from the bootscreen
    4. Return the kernel to Ninphetamine 2.1.3 which originally came with the ROM.

First your device needs to be rooted and needs a custom recovery. The easiest way for this would be to use Chainfire's CF-Root to be flashed by Odin found in this post:

    http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1103399&highlight=CF-Root

The flashing tool (Odin v1.85) can be found in the first post of the thread, and all CF-Root recoveries and rooted kernels which are version specific can be found in post #3, #4 and #5. Make sure you use the correct version that matches your current firmware. The procedure on how to do this is very well documented by Chainfire in the thread itself, so make sure you read it and understand it well and get your device rooted before proceeding.

The assumption is you already have a rooted device with a custom recovery at this point, so the actual steps are as follows:

    Installing DlevROM2:

    1. Download the ROM of your choice (1.0/1.1/1.2) from the second post in this thread
    2. Download the "Samsung Apps And Widgets" also on the second post in this thread (This step is optional if you want the stock Samsung Apps installed, also some functionalities are dependent on them being installed)
    3. Make sure the downloads are not corrupted by openning the zip files one by one, if you cannot open the zip files properly that means they are corrupted, and you will have to download it again.
    4. Connect your device to your computer via the USB cable
    5. Copy the zip files you downloaded onto your device's internal storage
    6. Properly eject your device from the computer to make sure the files were copied properly
    7. Reboot your device into Recovery Mode either via the CWM App (if you have it installed) or by powering it off, then simultaneously pressing Volume Up + Home Button + Power Button
    8. Once in recovery, it is recommended to do a full wipe to ensure best results (I wipe the cache partition, the dalvik cache and do a full data wipe to be sure)
    9. Install the DlevROM2_1.x.zip file
    10. Install the Samsung_Apps_Addon.zip file (Again this is optional as desribed in Step 2.)
    11. Reboot your device into normal mode (First boot will take a bit longer as always after flashing a new ROM)
    12. When the device boots up, you would have successfully installed DlevROM2

    Reinstalling CWM App:

    1. Download CF-Root-SGS2_XX_OXA_KH3-v4.1-CWM4.zip from post #2 in Chainfire's original thread (http://xdaforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=691963&d=1313601853). This specific version is needed since DlevROM2 is KH3 based.
    2. Unzip the CF-Root-SGS2_XX_OXA_KH3-v4.1-CWM4.zip downloaded in Step 1. (It will unzip to CF-Root-SGS2_XX_OXA_KH3-v4.1-CWM4.tar)
    3. Power off the device
    4. Boot into Download Mode by simultaneously pressing Volume Down + Home Button + Power Button
    5. Run Odin 1.85 on your computer (If you still don't have it, get it here: http://xdaforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=611625&d=1306787405)
    6. Connect your device (currently in Download Mode) to your computer via the USB cable
    7. Once Odin detects your device, click the "PDA" button and select the CF-Root-SGS2_XX_OXA_KH3-v4.1-CWM4.tar file you unzipped in Step 2.
    8. Make sure "Repartition" is not checked and leave all other settings as is
    9. Click "Start" (Odin will flash Chainfire's CF-Root and reboot your device into Normal Mode)
    10. When the device boots up, you will have a yellow triange on the boot screen and will also have the CWM App installed in the Program Launcher

Removing the Yellow Warning Triangle from the Boot Screen:

    1. Download Kernel_GTI9100XXKH3.exe from Intratech's thread (http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1075278) under post #3 titled "+++++++[Frankenstein Firmwares]+++++++", for version XXKH3 (or get directly from this link to Intratech's thread: http://www.multiupload.com/C4DRUIJTLL

    All-in-one guide for DlevROM2

    1. Download Kernel_GTI9100XXKH3.exe from Intratech's thread (http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1075278) under post #3 titled "+++++++[Frankenstein Firmwares]+++++++", for version XXKH3 (or get directly from this link to Intratech's thread: http://www.multiupload.com/C4DRUIJTLL)
    2. Run the Kernel_GTI9100XXKH3.exe file downloaded in Step 1. and it will extract to Kernel_GTI9100XXKH3.tar (Password is: intratech@XDA)
    3. Download ninphetamine-2.1.3-release.zip from Hacre's thread (http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1179814&highlight=KH3+Stock+Kernel) under post #2 titled "Ninphetamine version 2.1.3 Release Edition ZIP file for flashing via Clockwork Mod Recovery" ( or get directly from link to Hacre's thread: http://ninpo.qap.la/kernels/sgs2/ninphetamine-2.1.3-release.zip)
    4. Make sure you can open the ninphetamine-2.1.3-release.zip file to guarantee that it is not corrupted
    5. Extract the zImage from the CF-Root-SGS2_XX_OXA_KH3-v4.1-CWM4.tar unzipped in Step 2. of the "Reinstalling CWM App" Section of this guide
    6. Connect your device to your computer via the USB cable under Normal Mode
    7. Copy the ninphetamine-2.1.3-release.zip file downlowded in Step 3. on to your device's internal storage
    8. Copy the zImage file extracted in Step 5. on to your device's internal storage
    9. Properly eject your device from the computer to make sure the files were copied properly
    10. Reboot the device into Download Mode from the CWM App previously installed
    11. Run Odin 1.85 on your computer (If you still don't have it, get it here: http://xdaforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=611625&d=1306787405)
    12. Connect your device (currently in Download Mode) to your computer via the USB cable
    13. Once Odin detects your device, click the "PDA" button and select the Kernel_GTI9100XXKH3.tar file you unzipped in Step 2.
    14. Make sure "Repartition" is not checked and leave all other settings as is
    15. Click "Start" (Odin will flash the stock XXKH3 Kernel and reboot your device into Normal Mode)
    16. When the device boots up, the yellow triange will be gone from the boot screen but the CWM App will still be installed in the Program Launcher, but the Kernel will be stock
    17. Run the CWM App on your device and select "Flash kernel" (this will search for the zImage you copied onto your device in step 8.)
    18. Confirm to flash the zImage (CWM will flash Chainfire's CF-Root kernel and recovery, then reboot the device to normal mode again)
    19. When the device boots up, the yellow triangle will still be gone from the boot screen and you will have Chainfire's custom kernel/recovery and his CWM App installed

Returning the kernel to Hacre's Ninphetamine 2.1.3 kernel:

    1. Reboot into Recovery Mode from the CWM App
    2. Install the ninphetamine-2.1.3-release.zip copied onto your device's internal storage from step 7. of the "Removing the Yellow Warning Triangle from the Boot Screen" Section of this Guide
    3. Reboot your device into Normal Mode
    4. When the device boots up, the yellow triangle will still be gone from the boot screen and you will have Chainfire's custom recovery and his CWM App, and the kernel will be the original kernel that the DlevROM2 was designed with.

I have tried this with all three versions of Dlev's ROMs, and it works 100%.

The credits for this guide go to:
    • Dlev for the ROM
    • Chainfire for the Custom Recovery and the CWM App
    • Intratech for the Stock XXKH3 Kernel
    • Hacre for the Ninphetamine Kernel

I apologize if I forgot to mention anyone who deserves credit, it is not my intention to leave you out and take credit for your work.

    Hope this was helpful.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I also replaced the apns-conf.xml that comes with DlevROM2, with the one from the stock ROM. It seems more complete than the one provided by AOSP ROMs, at least for my provider. The AOSP version does not have the correct entries for Globe Telecoms Philippines. If you think it would also be useful for you, download it from here: http://xdaforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=705029&d=1314725575 unzip it, copy it to your device and overwrite the one in /system/etc using any file explorer that can mount the /system filesystem as R/W (read-write). I used ES File Explorer and enabled root and R/W under settings.

I agree those saying Dlev should go straight to KI3 2.3.5 rather than KI4 2.3.4.

Save yourself time and effort Dlev :)

    Definitely agree
