So here's mine:

So here are my homescreen screenshots. Yes I know the wallpaper isn't anything special, but I quite like the ASUS Dayscene, it's so wonderfully tranquil, specially with those recently added animations! I might switch back to Multi Live Wallpaper to give each screen it's own wallpaper, but we'll see. Anyway, from left to right:

Im a noob to all this customisation. Is there like a step by step guide for idiots like me? Simple text is even difficult to use for me!

It can be a bit of a challenge in the beginning, unfortunately there's no noob proof way. Trying (and at times failing) is the best way to get it set up the way you want. I'd be happy to give you some pointers if you want though.

could you please post how big the images you used on the icons are? I have tried many times, but never gotten them to fit perfectly. Always a big gap between them. And how many rows/columns do you use? :)

And, sorry about all the questios, how did you make the avatar icons? The one with your avatar sticking out, and the one with the three friends? :)

There's a thread that inspired me to do this setup and he had all the sizes mapped out. I believe the main ones were:

2x1 - 244x112
2x2 - 244x230
2x4 - 244x466
4x4 - 494x466

All tiles were made within Photoshop and implimented onto the backgrounds with 7 pixels separating each tile. There's probably a big gap between each of your tiles because you're creating each tile as a widget, whereas my tiles are stuck in place (and if i needed to change a tile it'd have to be through Photoshop). I use 6 rows and 10 columns. The avatar tile can be obtained via screenshot from xbox.com/live and the avatar and my three xbox live friends can be created into a widget through an app named "xbox live avatar widget". No worries about the questions let me know if you need more help!

Do you use invisible widgets or icons on the tiles? I did that on mine, with 4 icons under each tile. But then I got the gap between the widgets. Gonna set up something like yours tonight, I think. Do you still have the PSD files? :) Thanks for all info.
