Download Minimal adb from here: https://mega.co.nz/#!AZJW0D6Z!snaD0gnPNRhjiqU7XYiQNO1CSrjELJ8E2HfRLHC83TM

Just to confirm:

- needs bootloader unlock
- works fine on my german Moto G 8GB
- will automatically restore apps (but no settings) after signing in to Google Play

Great work, thank you!

Frank.

Removed the cwm quote from my previous post as requested.

To be honest I'm not even sure at what point the partitions are formatted to a particular filesystem type. I would guess they are formatted at the 'factory' and that's it unless you specifically format them somehow, eg I formatted my sdcard on my old HTC phone using cwm to be ext4.

I don't *think* fastboot can actually format (as in apply a new filesystem) to a partition.

Maybe cwm could be altered to format userdata as ext4.

If anyone's knows anymore about when filesystem's are actually officially formatted please let me know.

Be good if someone can enter 'mount' in terminal emulator once they are on GPE as you say.

Can someone do this please and look at the output for the line with 'userdata' in it and see if it says f2fs or ext4.
I think it must be the gpt file as this is the first file flashed perhaps you could check? I've a UK Moto G and just checked mine is also ext 4

    Ext4.

Forget my signature. I'm on GPE at the time being.

    Sent. Really?

I recently went from 4.3 to this ROM on XT1032. Regarding the flashing errors mentioned earlier in the thread; I recall trying effectively 3 different versions of fastboot.exe - the standard one, mfastboot.exe and one provided by Paul O Brien back in November: fastboot-moto-windows.exe. I think it was the last of those that gave no errors. Something worth considering if people are having problems.

I think there are two one US Global that does support the Europe bands and one US only that supports T mobile USA bands

    I think AT&T uses 850Mhz and 1900Mhz and T-Mobile 1700Mhz & 2100Mhz.

According to Play Store the GPE doesn't have support for 1700Mhz.
For AT&T there is no problem.

Anyway its all a confusion....two possible scenarios...
A ) There are 2 GPE phones. (Just like you said).
B ) All GPE versions are XT1032 and fu%& off with the 1700Mhz band...
