Google talk with video and voice from gingerbread 2.3.4

NOTE: In Sense roms Camera is sideways on recipients side

Reboot to recovery
Always create a backup of your current setup before trying out mods or themes.

Flash the attached gtalk file
Wipe dalvik
Wipe cache
Reboot

Google Voice is working
Google Talk Video is working

Note: Tiamat 4.0 gave me FC's

Test it out and let me know

I got an fc the first time then workes for me. Cm 7.0.2.1 with savagezen 2.0.0 kernal. Awesome!

Someone point me in the right direction please.

Running CM7.0.2.1 with SZEN 1.1.0
What am I looking for. I don't see anything new in my app drawer, phone dialer, homescreens etc?
I followed OP's instructions, downloaded the right files. What am I missing?

Its Google talk. You wont see new apps, it just updated the old ones

Ummm.....yeah...never would have found that on my own.
Bigger question: How do I video chat with my wife's ipad2. We have tried fring, qik,tango, etc... because she doesn't have an iphone there are no contacts in her ipad and when I try to invite her she doesn't recieve the invited because they are email vs. phone number.
If this is off topic, please disregard it but we are about to have a baby and when I am gone I would love to video chat. We can do skype, but phone to tablet would be awesome. Easy solution: buy her an EVO..

She could try going to igoogle.com or gmail.com and try the built in chat but other than that I'm not sure.

Just buy her an evo or a Nexus S 4g lol

I also got it working with this rom. I was able to make a video call from phone to computer. The only thing is that I appeared sideways on the computer.

That's strange, i was using it last night and it appeared fine on the computer, when i tilt my phone it tilts on the pc too. Maybe its the rom?

If I tilted the phone it would appear correct for a second on the computer and then adjust to view sideways again on the computer. The video I was seeing on the phone was correct.

why don't you try the kernel i posted in the OP? See if it helps, if not you could always reflash the one your currently running.

Running Tiamat 3.3.7 SBC and had it work last night. FC'd when my video call ENDED, but I think a fix permissions might help that.

I never got the FC with 5-377-toastcfh-2.6.38-hax0r-me-alive-v5 Only when i had Tiamat 4.0
