I didn't have to flash a modem or anything. I went straight from ICS to this(well the team insomnia leak to this)

This is based off the bell leak..I am using bell leak from team insomnia and it does have wifi usb tethering
Something I'm a little confused about since coming to the SIII... Since this is stock based, and I'm on a stock based Rom currently, then do I need to wipe data or no? I came from NS4G and the Hero before that so I always had to wipe everything every time, but from what I've read that isn't the case for the SIII.

Also from what I read in the Team Insomnia leak thread is some people were experiencing issues even just after restoring user apps and data from TB. I'm having an issue now where my device is rebooting randomly frequently. I'm not sure if it's just I've been flashing it so much it's all jacked (going to try a full wipe) or if it's one of the apps I restored from TB. I'm going to do a clean flash as well as not install anything from TB and see if I still get the reboots.
Anyone else getting them? I'm curious to know..

hmm not sure Mine is showing 4G and is connected to LTE. What does your network say in settings/about phone/status?
In this case yes wipe everything because it's a Jellybean stock rom, not ics which is what comes out of the box. Going ics stock to another ics stock based you don't have to wipe, but I would and then advanced restore data... That's just me.

well im in slc an we dont have lte yet but it has always shown 4g mobile network type umts :3 i dont really mind other then that im havin 0 issues and im not going deaf by the incall volume!!
edit: flashed a diff modem and it still says 3g

Thanks, I'll try that tomorrow. I flashed without the wipe and it booted and worked great for a few but then it rebooted on its own and I lost root. Had to nand back
Rom looks amazing though! Hope a full wipe gets it going tomorrow!

I agree. This would be perfect if it had touchwiz. I don't know why everyone is pushing nova and apex. Touchwiz is one of the best features of the s3 and a huge part if why I dropped the gnex for the s3

I was on smartguy's JB rom and my phone displayed 3g when it typically would display 4g. But I did a speed test and I was getting the same speeds on it as I did a rom where it actually displayed 4g. I think it's just an issue with how it's reporting because I would bet if you did a speed test you would have 4g speeds. I was getting around 8mb's/sec download, which is what I typically get and is definitely not the speed I would expect to see if I were on 3g.
Like u said, try a full wipe. I'm on Smartguys JB did a full wipe and restored everything with TB and haven't had a single reboot.
im also getting only 3g I checked phone status and it says UMTS which is 3g.... also my network widget says i'm on 3 g also...I'm in an LTE area so I know its on 3g data is horrible... even after apn playing modem kernels still 3g.. just reporting very nice work Cant wait til its better..

It is recommended that you have updated to Stock Jelly Bean via odin before flashing and especially if you have any problems. The odin update will make sure all partitions are updated and not just the system/boot partition
It is recommended that you do a full wipe before flashing including data. It wouldn't boot for me the first time I tested until I wiped data as well. You can try without but if you have any issues do a full wipe
If you have no data please re set up your APN's you can google the correct apns

If coming from a different ROM especially an ICS rom it is recommended that you do a full wipe. If you do not do a full wipe and have issues do not post them until you do a full wipe and if they persist after a full wipe

I've been getting a lot of PM's and also have seen posts in the thread of people requesting things to add off the top of my head.. other colors, centered clock, stock system ui with stock sammy icons, make the font bigger etc...
Let me say this again.. Please don't request things. If there is a bug, sure I will fix it but adding features is something I will not do 9 times out of 10.
I'm not denying these requests because I'm trying to be a **** or because I'm stubborn but for a couple of reasons. When I first did this rom I wasn't planning on releasing it. I did it for me. I wanted a rom the way I liked it set up and the way I used it and preferred it. I did not have to release it. I could have kept it for myself but I decided to share it with the community. The only requests I would consider are ones that I myself would use and as of right now the only thing I would like to add is call recording and crt off. So if you request something and do not get a response please do not take it personally
Other things, especially cosmetic you can change yourself. I'm all about people learning and doing things on their own. I knew NOTHING about android 2 years ago and I just kept reading and learning. There are many guides on XDA a lot of them I used myself to do this rom. I hate when people expect to be spoon fed and often rip people a new one in forums I mod for expecting people to do the work for them.
There are many users that make mods if you don't have a clue on how to start and they would be the ones to ask for mods. But as far as this rom goes besides bug fixes and what I mentioned above (call recording and crt off which more could be added to if I want something else) you get what you get. If you want to change it by all means change it. I just don't have the time to do a million differ variations of things
again I'm not trying to be a jerk. I just really don't have the time. I work full time as a programmer/database admin and I go to school full time so time is very limited. I actually wasn't going to do anything after the last release (0.9.2) until after my finals next week but decided to take time from my studying to get you guys the official AT&T release of JB ASAP. version 1.0 (and 1.01) actually was the first time I rushed to get it done so I could get back to studying.
I hope you guys understand. If you want something from the stock rom by all means download a stock rom and pull the files you want to replace.14Hey guys! I'm back!
