[ROM] Morrisoft Gen V1.0 - Final

For some reason, I had too reboot twice. After the second, it asked me to accept the Terms and conditions for the market again, then it started downloading.

Ok..

Battery life.... I had Neutrino 2.2 and it was awesome compared to Alien #4, and Morrislee 0.7 is EQUAL to Neutrino, so its AWESOME! I unplugged at 6:30a, listen to poweramp for about a total of 1.5 hours, net about 30 minutes, a few texts and a few calls and at 7:30p i am at 78%!!! Alien i would be right at 30-35%.

This is truly a sweet ROM. I can boot in about 35 seconds, from pressing the power button to unlock screen. I have not had MAJOR FC at all, the only FC i have had is with Words with Friends. Nothing to worry about as it happens once in a while!

I have noticed and this has happened a few times today, that when i go to unlock my atrix, that i am faced with the wait 30 seconds or enter your email and PW to unlock. This happens when i go to bring the screen up and unlock ONE time. just upon bringing the screen up i see this. Since i have the finger scanner enabled i have the Skip On Security ticked. also, yesterday and this morning i was able to see my wallpaper on the lock screen, ever since the 30 second wait started i have not. i have not changed any setting since last night.

ML, i know your fast at fixing some issues, like when you came out with this ROM to help combat Neutrinos 2.5 APN issue. i know you can figure this one out!

i am aware of the wallpaper issue but i actually thought it could be a feature at the beginning because when i wake up, the background makes the screen really bright, but this is great for he haha. This happens to both system lockscreen and the fingerprint unlock.

The 30 second thing happened to me on my older builds too, rarely.i thinkit is a CM7 bug. I have not encountered it on this build

the 30 second thing happened about 5 times today to me.... if its a CM7 bug, then i guess there wont be a fix for it, that we would have to find it on our own.

ok i noticed something about the 30 sec deal.... i have a setCPU prfile set for screen off to set the CPU 216-456, and thats when it does it. i will remove that profile and see if its better. i will report back tomorrow about it.

The issue I have concerns the audio output in game Medieval Castle Defense (free on the Market).

When sound enabled in game there is jerky output and game periodically stops for a split second, continues and stops again and so on. Happens with a lot of items in gamefield.
Disabled sound/music - no problem.

That didn't happen with stock 2.3.4 with different kernels. But CM7, Neutrino and Morrisoft Gen all have this effect. Least it seems with Faux 1.0 kernel, and most - with OC kernels.

I'd like to narrow is it ROM or kernel related? Any fixes?

The game is free on Market so anyone may verify my words.

P.S. Also paid attention the Youtube application play video OK but audio is a little of low quality resulting in noise and jerks.

i removed the profile for screen lock in setcpu and i had NOT ONE please wait 30seconds......

also, the lockscreen BG image, only shows when you are not "skipping on security".

Whoever is missing the wallpaper for the lockscreen, try installing this wallpaper app and select one of the wallpaper from it, see if the lockscreen will inherit the wallpaper now.

Is there a way to correct that bug that makes all icons to get together on the APPs screen when you turn the screen?

i have seen what your talking about, it only happened to me once or twice. what orientation are you in when you goto the menu then where are you when they get bunched up? just tring to help ML out. also what version are you running, 0.7? with or without the patch?

That is an issue with launcherpro. Always has been from any roms from what i can remember. Just swipe when it does happen, it will arrange them again

this rom is bad ass, only think missing is the 30step ringer volume. i see the media volume has it, but not the ringer. next release? i oculda sword there was a cwm flashable, but maybe i was dreaming. i tried searching, with no luck

I would actually want to make it 3 stages only, silent, medium and max. That is all is needed i think. You want to hear it or you don't. That is what ringer is for no????

I think you have to keep Launcher Pro in your rom because should be a difference between pure CM7 and your rom.

Battery Life

I know others have stated that they have great battery life, but I have only been able to get about 15 hours with light use. I have calibrated the battery and wiped battery stats after flashing the rom. I'm able to get it to deep sleep, however it is still draining about 40-45mA as shown in my battery history. I really like this rom, but I don't know why I seem to be the only one getting poor battery life.
