When the brightness doesn't increase after taking out from pocket, I immediately press the power button and then press the power button to wake up the phone again. This makes the screen brightness change according to the brightness.
Another thing that I noticed is sometimes when I come from bright environment the screen stays brighter and doesn't dim when I come indoors and if I do this again it works.
Charging under 0423 nightly with LPS modem is getting very hot. Not sure this is firmware or ROM issue. I'll update to 0425 and see what will happen.
Is it just me or the wake lag has completely gone for everyone else as well (04/25 build)?

Useless report is useless... No system wakelock statistics, no kernel wakelock statistics, no Wireshark capture if there were lots of wlan wakelocks.
Another useless report.
Also he needs to set up a complete source repo to have a hope of building an individual package (pain in the ass, I know, but worth it in the long run) - there are only VERY rare situations where someone should be cloning a git repo directly in from the Cyanogenmod repos.Permission denied (publickey).
You missed to setup your github account properly.
Read the github help.

People ***** about battery, then when the settings are tuned in the direction of battery, they ***** about performance, YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS.I hope the revert the latest Kernel changes. System feels slower than before. Did a full wipe.

Have you tried doing a simple:
Settings < Security < Lock Screen < Screen lock
Then selecting "None", and then re-selecting select "Slide"?

If you don't like the default settings, CHANGE THEM. THEY ARE TUNABLE FOR A REASON. Stop asking developers to hold your hand! Do you want us to feed you too?
