Thanks for the updates guys, I'll do another batch on the weekend :)

I have posted corrections to the Hong Kong operators list in February 2011.
http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=11166423&postcount=264

Most of the logos are correct now, but there are still some corrections that can be made:

1. "Hong Kong Telecom CSL 1010"
CSL is no longer a Hong Kong Telecom subsidary since 2002. According to the logo, please change the name to "1O1O". Although they use "1010" in their URLs, the official name they use is "1O1O".
http://1010.hkcsl.com/jsp/about1010/contact.jsp
A clearer version of the 1O1O logo with a white background can be found in my previous post.

2. "P Plus Comm"
P Plus Comm no longer exists in Hong Kong since 1998, please remove this entry.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P_Plus_Communications

3. "PCCW"
I have a clearer version of the PCCW mobile log in my previous post.

4. "New World Mobility"
This is a CSL brand, missing from the list. I have a logo of this in my previous post.

5. "SmarTone Mobile Comms"
"Mobile Comms" is unnecessary, this entry can be just "SmarTone". I have a clearer logo with antialiasing, made for 90x35 size attached.

Information of CSL's brands: (1010, one2free, New World Mobility)

Thanks...I only took over the thread more recently so was not made aware of your post. I used a previous post by someone else to make the Hong Kong updates. I'll take a look and change them in the next update.

Hi,

Could you add the provider "French - Free", you can see it here : http://mobile.free.fr/
Free mobile is a new french provider (since few days) and is already very famous because is very cheap compare to the others.

There are lots of article on the web about Free mobile :)

Thanks

new design of flag of Serbia

It would be great if you could change a flag of Serbia used in this forum:

old%20Serbia.gif

with a new one which was adopted on November 11, 2010:

Here's what I found for Austria:
  • A1 Telekom is just called A1 now. Their new logo can be found on their website. (As a new user I can't post links, sorry about that.)
  • Mobilcom Austria is now also A1.
  • ONE (Connect Austria) is now Orange.
I hope this post helped. :)

[Q] Network not listed :s

Hi, basically on the settings of XDA, and onto additional settings you can select your network carrier, i.e t-mobile. I'm with vectone mobile, which if you've never heard of is actually quite popular.

http://www.vectonemobile.co.uk/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vectone_Mobile

How come it's not on the list of network carriers in the UK on the additional settings? Talk mobile is there, and that runs off O2, vectone is just as popular. Vectone runs off t-mobile and orange servers.

Regards. ;)

EDIT: Just realised there's a thread dedicated to this which moderators look over, sorry for this post!

    Hey all,

Thanks to the efforts of TaurusBullba and now the_scotsman, we've recently updated most of the operator logos and country flags. It was a big job, as there were literally hundreds of images to be normalized. But now, most of the logos and flags are larger and are similar in sizes, which makes for a cleaner overall feel.

That said, some logos and flags are still not right. Please report any problems here and we'll work on them one-by-one.

There are no longer any provider logos. Haven't been since the migration to Xenforo :)

Unless I'm missing something really obvious...

    Hi all

The management of the operator logos has been handed to myself. Keep firing them at me, i will get them sorted.

    Cheers:good:

EDIT: All up to date, if any have been missed in the transition, please let me know.

Ok guys, new updates are live. You may have to re-select your operator from the list or clear your browser cache.

What's the point of this thread if its completely neglected?

    For Pakistan:
Mobilink and Warid are two telecom operators here, and they have merged into one network called Jazz, you can verify this by looking at the Jazz Pakistan Wikipedia page (which I maintain myself), and you can get the updated logo from there as well.

Please look into this and change it, Warid is no longer a network here, even all the offices here have been rebranded to Jazz and people have been asked to replace their SIM cards and so on.

Would greatly appreciate it if you guys could look into it.

    Thanks.

Terribly sorry. We're going to go through all the unread threads in here and take care of all the logo updates in one shot.
