Anyone able to dowload and analize?
Probably gingerbread!

I've never heard of this GT-I9200, all I know is that Nexus S was supposed to be GT-I9020 and Galaxy S2 was supposed to be GT-I9100. Where did this I9200 come from?

If someone is able to analyse it, or could donate to Quattro Formaggi to get the firmware.

This might be the first Gingerbread we see!

I'm trying to generate the url, but I don't know if the main folder changed... /9/

It should be something like:
http: // fus.samsungmobile.com/Phone_Binary/9/GT-I9200_I9200XXJP2_I9200XXXJP1_I9200XXJP1_I9200XXJP2_XX_XXX.zip.enc

but this is not working...

Bullsh*t, there are even mistakes in the article, it was mentioned 100 times that Gingerbread should be labeled as 2.3 and not 3.0

The thing is that the GT-I9200 really exists!!! I assume the editor went creative and added the 3.0, because at the time everybody thought Gingerbread would be 3.0. Now we know it's really 2.3

Another thing that probably is not true is the Processor speed (probably is a dual core processor at 1GHz)

Definitely, 2GHz cpu will blow your battery off.

not necessarily - the new processors are going to be much more efficient:
http://www.engadget.com/2010/11/18/qualcomm-teases-28nm-dual-core-snapdragons-pixel-punching-adren/

Better: http://www.onlinesocialmedia.net/20101119/next-gen-android-phones-to-be-run-on-new-snapdragon-chip/

"The MSM8960 which is a dual-core chip that uses an upgraded CPU core is set for launch next year and is dubbed to provide five times better performance than the very first Snapdragon chip, at 75 per cent less power"

To get past error 22, you have to do a ubiformat -s 512.

It got me all the way to mount and then my ubuntu 10.04 live cd could not do ubifs. Will have to try again at home.

ubiformat - formats empty flash, erases flash and preserves erase counters, flashes UBI images to MTD devices

Seems like you are erasing the whole image.
