Please create a Resolution changer for Gingerbread

Good pm. Can anyone make an resolution changer for Xperia Arc/S Gingerbread version. That can fit it to the whole screen. The 854x480 doesen't seem right. 640x480 would be nicer and acceptable to gain performance in games and emulators.Thanks. Please.
OH AND HOW DO I CHANGE screen resolution in GB?????? PLEASE....
