Screen Mirroring still works after root

I am surprized after rooting my Note 3 N9005 with Stock 4.4.2, screen mirroring still works.

Please note that I have set up screen mirroring with my TV first before rooting the phone so maybe this has made the difference. I haven't tried any other TV because I only have one.

It will work as long as you are on a stock kernel. Does not work for custom kernels ?

Ahh I thought once it's rooted, screen mirroring won't work.

but it isn't working for me after root and flashing CWM recovery, note 3 sm-n900, is it the recovery or maybe sm-n900 is the problem?? any help or suggestions?
