Is it possible for Always Listening Tech to be on this phone in the future?

Haitu wants to know if you can say something like "Ok Google" and have the phone wake up without having to touch anything like the Moto X. Unfortunately, people are reporting I'm other threads that this feature is not available.

Unfortunately not... Only Google phones can do this

Not quite. My S4 with a custom cyanogenmod rom does it too. So it can be possible.

All the 3rd party apps I have tried are extremely slow compared to my moto x or my tablet running Google Now Launcher. Its a nice feature, but dont find myself using it that much, and its more of a gimmick.
