I've had problems before, even with the stock play store. I just left my phone alone for a couple of hours, and it ended up fixing itself. If the download problem still continues, then I would try getting a different version of the play store.

I've tried 3 different times to get his theme installed correctly. Wiped cache/dalvik after a fresh install of cm9, it boots, is themed, but no square clock. Is there a way for me to get the clock manually?

Do you mean the block battery? Go into your settings and make sure your battery is set as the default icon and not percentage.

I have a few Widgets that I can customize the font color, can you tell me the hex code for the orange you use for this theme?

The OP was keeping up on updating this, I'm guessing school or something is occupying the majority of his time. Can't complain about that, life comes first. I updated to aokp build 32 without checking to see if he has updated his themes. I just assumed cuz we've been so spoiled in the past. I'm sure he'll update when he has time, gooch is a cool and helpful guy.

Agreed, gooch has been very busy helping us all with his great theme work, I've also been awaiting the update for b33 but I wouldn't b surprised if he was just taking a small break for a minute. As much as I'm sure he enjoys what he does, I'm sure it can time consuming and sometimes just tiring.

Thanks guys. I have been very busy lately and I just got back from the coast with my girlfriend. I'll try to have all the themes updated for build 33 later tonight.

Updated for AOKP Build 33 and:

  • Turned notifications black in the Status Bar
  • Renamed Vending.apk to Phonesky.apk to get Google Play working

Love this orange theme gooch. Its different and unique. Just got it all set up for b33 and I see that b34 is out now:rolleyes::cool: Wish I knew how to theme cm9/ aokp. You do some fine work;)

i have a theme i'm using that combines this theme with a red one that was updated for b34. works flawlessly on 34. only thing different is that the notification widgets are redder than they should be. with gooch man's permission and if anyone wants, i can share a link..

    This is a Dark, Glowing Orange and Black Theme that I made. These are my College Colors as well. Everything has been themed by myself and many hours have been put into this project to get everything right. I hope you like it.


    Warning: I highly recommend that you flash this theme after booting up from a fresh install of the ROM and gapps. If you ever have any problems with a nandroid restore or bootloop: Just Reboot into Recovery, wipe cache and dalvik cache, and re-flash your ROM and gapps. Then flash the theme again!


    Tangerine Dream Includes:
    • Block Battery (With Counting Animation)
    • Center Clock Mod
    • Stock Roboto Font
    • Orange Selections
    • Orange Overscroll Glow
    • Black Windows
    • Orange Apps With Themed Icons! (MMS, Dialer, Calculator, Calender, Gmail, Google Voice, Google Talk, YouTube, And The Google Play Store)
    • Inverted Orange Contacts (Build From Source Code!)
    • White and Orange Themed Keyboard (Has Dark Orange Key Popups!)
