IMPORTANT

New in Version 2 is the NAMELESS Kernel Cleanup Script. The Kernel Cleanup Script is a script which MUST be run when coming from another kernel (including NAMELESS v1). This script should be flashed BEFORE installing NAMELESS v2. After using this script, you may notice that on the first boot after installing the kernel it may take a long time, this is normal.

Version 2

NOTE: A problem has been detected with the recovery used in the Gummy Charged ODIN file. When using this recovery and trying to install this kernel, it will reboot the phone during installation, which is not good. This isn't a problem with the kernel, but a problem with the recovery. If you believe you are using this recovery, please flash the ODIN recovery below.

NOTE: There is no overclocking or core performance optimization made with this kernel. We do not currently have source to allow for such adventures and therefore you may see performance evaluations lesser than prior OS releases. If you acknowledge this, then you are also acknowledging the fact that you are by flashing this kernel running a cutting edge piece of software. As such, you should not expect nor fathom to be entitled to such performance characteristics of the aforementioned.

If we flash this, is there a way to return to the stock ep1f kernel easily? Like a cwm flashable zip?

I want to test but only if I can revert

Flashed using CWM 4.0.0.8, phone rebooted in 5 seconds, sat at the Samsung logo for a bit, and then booted up normal into Gummy GB. The FS is listed as RFS when I typed 'mount' in a terminal emulator.

Thanks for all the hard work!

I use my charge for a lot of tethering and when using the builtin hotspot it shows up as

Insert SIM for using Mobile Hotspot included tethering

Nice effects and looking smooth! Great work!

Hey guys, I understand some of you may be upset that the kernel is not perfect yet, and unfortunately I would love it to be but since I don't actually own a Charge it is rather difficult to make that happen on the first try. However, I do thank you all for testing the kernel so far and I am working diligently to fix the issues!

ok im going kinda crazy, i dont see any ext4 formater anywhere and when i search for it nothing really comes up....i know im missing something here but what? anyone wanna point me in the right direction?

Thanks, I understand that part, what I should have asked was how to I mount partitions? I'm trying to get flash this kernel with the ep1h debloated leak I'm running.

From my understanding I flash the ext4 formatter, odin the new recovery, mount partitions (???), flash the cleanup script, flashed the kernel and I should be all set.

So, how do I mount partitions?

Mount partitions from inside the new recovery under the "mounts and storage" menu. You'll need to mount /system, /dbdata, /data, /cache, and /sd-ext if memory serves. It's safe to just mount them all, but not necessary to do /sdcard as it won't be included in the format for obvious reasons.

When it comes down to it here's the order to get ext4 and nameless kernel on your GB rom only.

    Wipe all
    Odin EP1F/H Leak
Odin new CWM (orange) *MUST REINSERT BATTERY BEFORE YOU ODIN THIS
    Wipe all again
In CWM Flash ext4 format all
In CWM Mount system, data, etc. NOTE* MUST MOUNT EXTSTORAGE
In CWM Flash your rom one that supports this... (preferably Eclipse touchwiz)
In CWM Flash kernel cleanup script
Odin Nameless Kernel *MUST REINSERT BATTERY BEFORE YOU ODIN THIS
reboot...samsung will flash about 6 to 8 times before it boots
