You could install VirtualBox, it's an emulator for OS's.
Then you can grab an Win XP or 7 ISO image and run Samsung Theme Designer inside VirtualBox.

I am going to upload a bootanimation, based on your device preferences.
I think it hangs because some device need slower/faster animations.
after I try this. it mess my tab3 10.1.
the light of my capacitive buttons is not working even its turned on.
and the screen timeout is not working also. it stays awake.
how to fix this? even I backed up the old bootsamsung.qmg
it frustrates me alot.
EDIT: ok, I forgot to set the proper permission, it worked. but its pixelated. btw, thanks for this.

Instalation:
1.Backup your old /system/media/bootsamsung.qmg !!!
2.Extract my bootsamsung.qmg from the file below
3.Push it to /system/media
4.Set the permissions of bootsamsung.qmg to rw-r--r-- (if it isn´t already)
5.Reboot and enjoy
