What? I tried this and the CM10 alpha and lost root with both. Did you dirty flash over your existing JB? I did a factory reset both times.

My recovery seems to have changed also. CWM is now gone. Anyone else?

To clarify for those asking...I was on CM9 nightlies before this. I flashed the ROM in this thread and the JB gapps provided in the CM10 alpha ROM thread. I did not wipe anything. I have not lost root. Not sure why some people are losing root, nor do I unfortunately have the answer.

UPDATE: It seems my root isn't being recognized by all apps. Apollo works for me, but Battery Callibration asks for root. Frankly, I have no idea right now.

At the end of the day, I'm happy to know my phone is up-to-date on the latest JB released from Google. Despite some flaws currently, development has been moving nicely for JB ROMs and I'm thankful to all the devs for this.

This is a self-compiled kang of CM11 with cherry picks from CyanogenMod’s Gerrit Instance, most comparable to a CM nightly build. You need not apply if you’re not comfortable with testing out new and possibly broken features. All credit goes to cyanogen, #teamdouche and the coders who submit to Gerrit.
