cant get into recovery mode

ok i have a tab3 model sm-t210r and i cant get into recovery mode to reset it. I've tried the up volume with and without the home button combo and same thing with the down volume..

You're not suppose to release the home button, just the power button once the logo pops up from reboot.......idk if that's what you're doing wrong.

I tried that and still nothing I thought I was doing it wrong to but I tried every method
