best tablet to be modified

Hi,

I am pretty new en tablets, got a hannspad sn1at71 which came out to be a puede of junk. I want to buy a new one which is stable, so i can use another recovery from cwm and can be modified with some cyanogenmod ROM.

I would appreciate any suggestions en this.

The Kindle Fire 1st gen. Makes a good one, no camera or microphone. Put CM 10 or 11 on it runs great.

i gotta throw in a vote for the hisense sero 7 pro. great device for the price (its basically a nexus 7 clone, except that is has camera's and microsd slot)

if you search the forums there are several roms for it, including ones based on the latest CM
