Hi guys i purchase a korean version SHW-M250s but it is already converted to I9100 my FIRMWARE is as FOLLOWS:

Model number:GT-19100
Android version: 2.3.4
Baseband version: i9100XXKG1
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7-i9100XXKG1-CL349526se.infra@SEP-39 #2
Build Number: GINGERBREAD.XXKG1

now the question is:
1.) Is it already rooted? if not how?, i cant see any Superuser etc.
2.) Can I just use any guide here about rooting? or is there any special instruction for a korean phone flashed w/ i9100 ROM
3.) Can i flash any custom ROM that i like? & how? (or any suggested ROM )
4.) When I press the menu button + vol up + power button i went to the Android system Recovery <3e> where in i can see 4 options like:
-reboot to system now
-apply update from sdcard
-wipe data/factory reset
-wipe cache partition
can I use the apply update from sdcard to load a custom ROM?

Pls help thanks

Looks like you don't have root if you can't boot into cwm recovery when you press menu+vol up+power button.
Look for your kernel version here and flash through odin.
I think you will get signature verification failure if you try to use apply update from sdcard to load a custom rom as you don't seem to have root.
