Release date for Australia?

hi guys,

does anyone have any ideas when the note will be released in Australia? can't wait to upgrade my Streak for it. always loved Samsung phones for their Amoled screens.

if they're not in Australia any soon, might look for one on eBay

If you're planning to buy it off-contract anyway, MobiCity are selling them already.

Note will be released in AU early next year.

EBay is pretty expensive now. Why not try expansys which had the lowest price now for €455 plus delivery (about AU$ 750). It's really good time to buy while AU dollar is high.

but I still can't find the one that's 455 euro....can you please ps me a link to it?

I have been to most of the Europe sites like Germany, Netherlands etc....can't understand the writings on them...so don't know how to get rid off the VAT...plus they don't post to AUS??

Hi mate, it's from a German site which doesn't ship to Australia (I tried). The current cheapest one I find is expansys.com which is 480 ponds including postage (AUD730 based on last night exchange rate. AUD is worth less today after the interest cut).

lol...I have just found that one too...that's a pretty good deal atm....have you purchased and received the phone from them yet?

I pre-ordered from them on 12th Oct which price is 4 ponds less than the current one. But, my order still hasn't been processed yet. I called them yesterday and they told me should be post yesterday but they didn't.

For the EU verion ordered from expansys, you can remove the UK convertor from your order detail screen which save you 0.99 ponds. And choose DHL instead FedEx for delivery.

We don't pay VAT, dude. You can remove that from the price.

If I buy it from a European Country other than UK....will it have English Language on it and will it work properly in Australia? What about also the abilities for system updates?
