Default [Q] Audio Dock Station

Hi. I want to buy a dock station to put my galaxy note and play some music (with quality) like this http://viewitem.eim.ebay.pt/Logitech...354211613/item for example.
Anyone know one?

The official desktop dock features a 3.5mm line out that should allow exactly for what you are thinking of.

Unfortunately early reports point put that the output of that line out is so weak that it's utterly unable to feed any amp due to a very low voltage.

Actually this and only this is the reason why i have not purchased the Note and i still stick to my iPhone. I love the ubiquty of the iPhone line out and speaker aftermarket.

Eh? I have a logitech dock I bought for my rubbish iPhone. I use a cable jive converter and my note dock and it blasts out louder than my iPhone ever did. Buy a 5mm lead and go down the shops and try out some of the docks or the wireless systems

I can do that but I really want to buy and can use the dock without any "cheat".

I'm afraid that double amping is not the purest way to pump put music off any device. That's why a line out is a must in my book

You mean the Philips Fidelio for Android...

Audio connectivity is via Bluetooth, so should avoid the low line output level issue.
Devices: Samsung Galaxy Note - Kogan Agora - HTC Desire - XDA Ignito - XDA Orbit 2 - XDA Orbit - XDA Mini S - XDA IIi

I have both the Note dock and Nokia BH-905 Bluetooth headphones and I never head any issues to be honest. Bluetooth sound is splendid and pure, I rather use those headphones than my cord connected ones. For Audio Out I use Logitech Z-10 speakers and never had any cracking sound or low sound output. I don't have to put my speakers up when I use my phone instead of pc either.

You're the first one that reports that the desktop dock for the Note line out port sends a strong enough signal to the speaker dock.

A few weeks back Supercurio told me that he thought that the SII and Note line out was actually a rerouted headphone out. May be you could try the next to help us decipher this:

Dock your Note and plug the line out port to the Z-10 speakers then play music...if you use the volume rocker from the phone... does the level of the sound coming off the speakers change ?

If it does then it's not a true line out and Supercurio would be right.

If manipulating the volume rocker of the phone the sound level remains the same then it's a true line out thus the signal coming off the line out would be bypassing the headphone amp and we would be avoiding double amping and low level sounds resolution and detail would be preserved. (And i'd be happy ditching my iPhone for a Note
