[Q] com.dell.android.providers.settings - what is it ?

Does anyone know what com.dell.android.providers.settings actually does ?
Occasionally it chews up a huge chunk of CPU and Battery on my Streak - I'm wondering if I can freeze it without breaking anything ?

The Streak 7 one is used to store the dock config settings, the S5 one doesnt seem to do anything.

I've used the dock without it installed at all and I havnt really noticed a difference at all. Then again the dock only sorta works with the S5 to begin with.
