This is the same *.exe that can be obtained from http://www.htc.com/www/help/wifi-security-fix/

Since someone posted. that after typing in his SN, no download link appears I've uploaded it on mediafire

Hi,

Can this update be rooted?

I currently run stock 2.2, only mod was that it was pre-rooted by someone here on XDA, no other modifications, can the same be done for this install file?

That's only a security fix. Nothing beyond that has changed.
