DONATE TO ME
Default Bluetooth and FM On NookTablet GPIO's :)

Hi, can any developer try this and report is it can enable bluetooth:

GPIO_46 O BT_EN Bluetooth Enable
1 = Enabled, 0 = Disabled
GPIO_49 I BT_WAKEUP Bluetooth Wakeup

GPIO_0 H_GPIO_0/
TFP410_NPD
TFP410 Device Power down (note: this GPIO goes through a voltage
translator to meet the 3.3V I/O requirement of the TFP410 on this pin)
1 = Normal Operation, 0 = Power Down
GPIO_122 DVI_MSEN
TFP410 Monitor Sense
0 = Powered on receiver sensed at the differential outputs
1 = No powered on receiver detected. (note: this output from the
TFP410 is open-drain and has a pull-up to 1.8V, so it is connected
directly to OMAP)

FM Enabler:
GPIO 48

GPIO_43 O I WLAN_EN
GPIO_46 O I BT_EN
GPIO_53 I O WLAN_IRQ
GPIO_52 I O FM_IRQ
UART2_TX/GPIO_126 O I HCI_RX
UART2_RTS/GPIO_124 O I HCI_CTS
UART2_RX/GPIO_125 I O HCI_TX
UART2_CTS/GPIO_123 I O HCI_RTS
GPIO_49 O I BT_FUNCT2
GPIO_48 O R62 I FM_EN

GPIO_43 O WLAN_EN 802.11b/g Enable
1 = Enabled, 0 = Disabled
GPIO_46 O BT_EN Bluetooth Enable
1 = Enabled, 0 = Disabled
GPIO_48 O FM_EN FM Enable
1 = Enabled, 0 = Disabled
GPIO_49 I BT_WAKEUP Bluetooth Wakeup
GPIO_52 I FM_nIRQ FM Interrupt Input
GPIO_53 I WLAN_nIRQ WLAN Interrupt Input

Taken straight from the pandaboard? This won't work on NT.

They don't work.
Nook Tablet uses acclaim board, which is a modified encore board.

GPIO 46 on acclaim is for touchscreen reset
GPIO 49 is for board type

This is the wireless module in the back of the Nook Tablet board,

The 6792A is an 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth front-end module,

The chip is also inside in Kindle Fire and Nook Color.

However, the blackened chip is unknown on the Nook Tablet. It is also blackened on the Nook Color, but we know that it is WL1271, which support Bluetooth. In the Kindle Fire, it's WL1270B, which support only 802.11b/g/n. If we know what the chip is, we can confirm that Nook Tablet support Bluetooth.

I wish there was a way us non-developers to help. Most of us who browse the forums can do basic adb commands. Any chance someone can give us anything we can pitch in with, maybe some repetitive work that developers could hand off to us?

I hope I'm not being demanding - it'd just be great if we can help offset some of the work that you hardcore folks are doing.

I agree with Computerslayer! Most developers tend to ask for "donations" and I tend to frown against that since theres no effort envolved. Like us ordinary 99%, who strongly support a device should give in time to a development project in some sort of way, PLEASE LET US KNOW!

Seriously? Am I reading this correctly here? You frown on a developer asking for "donations" because they didn't really put any effort into their work? Are you freakin out of your mind? Some devs have spent weeks, months and years into making android what it is now! Hell a ton of stuff included in stock roms now were put there by google after they got the ideas and even code from the development community.

Please tell me I just read that wrong and you really meant something totally different. Otherwise, please, by all means, go build a project of your own. Then come back and let us know how long it took you and how much effort it took.

I am guessing that you would probably come back with questions on how to set up your development environment.
If I have helped you or if you like my work, Donations are always appreciated!

You are a very poor judge of tone. Read things a few times before you go on some half-baked rant like that.

On nook, those are the wifi GPIOs:

#define SDP4430_WIFI_PWEN_GPIO 114
#define SDP4430_WIFI_PMENA_GPIO 118
#define SDP4430_WIFI_IRQ_GPIO 115

Don't know if and how to enable BT/FM. I tried a few nshutdown gpios from other boards without success.

Rgds,
Chris

Im for it too! Although the credibility of the work may be a question since development is pretty touchy stuff. If someone didn't know what they were doing and did it wrong it could mess up people's stuff. Just pointing it out but IM ALL FOR US 99% HELPING!
