Default [Q] Getting around fat32 4gb file size limit

Does anybody know of a way to get around the 4gb file size limit on the flyer/evo view? I'd like to put some bigger movies on the device. I'm running HC if that matters with the stock kernel. Thanks

There is no way to "get around" the limit with FAT32. It is a limit of the file system itself.

You could try formatting your microsd as EXT4 (a linux file system) and see if the tablet likes it. I'm not even sure if the Flyer/View would support it though, but worth a try. And if it works the file size limitation would no longer apply.

The only drawback in my opinion would be that you couldn't work with that card from Windows any more (as in putting the card directly in a laptop/card reader), but leaving the card in the tab and mounting via USB should still work.
