[ROM][ECLAIR] G-ROM(version f) [09/14/2012] ***SuperFast Now!***

As many people requested I will try to create ROM for playing games.
This is ROM is only initial, I will anything you want to it.

Features:

• based on XXJK1
• Re-odexed
• rooted
• custom bootanimation
• build.prop tweaks+scripts from v6supercharger and 3gturbocharger
• busybox 1.20.2 itself on /system/xbin/
• removed a lot of rubbish apps
• replaced Gallery3D with QuickPic
• Link2SD
• chainfire 3d drivers installed
• Tweak Manager with many scripts by zeppelinrox
• ginder keyboard&Swype
• Two launchers:LauncherPro and TouchWiz
• live wallpapers+G-ROM style live wallpaper
• Wifi Tether app
• replaced MyFiles with TotalCommander
• Titanium Backup
• init.d compatibility

for the bootanimation, just go into the themes and app section and look through, once you find one (not update.zip, just the bootanimation), go into system/media and paste it there and fix permissions (rw-r--r--).

for the font, just download rom toolbox and download a font that you like from that app (i use conforaa)

about the wallpaper, i dunno about that but maybe someone else does.

suggestion, name it version 1.0 or something cause version a sounds kinda wierd imho

custom wallpaper : change the wallpaper in framework-res.apk

custom font : change it using this (the easiest way) tested in ics https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...nstaller&hl=en

oc kernel : use g3mod or fugumod (or if your gonna port it, https://github.com/dharamg3/G3MOD )

I have already changed wallpapers(thye previous post)
I have to decide which font i will use. Tell what is the best
If I have enough time maybe will start working on the kernel

if your gonna port a kernel, use fugumod as that is the best froyo kernel in my opinion i reckon it will be easier to make a new one as eclair uses a different linux kernel version than froyo so porting will be hard

Abt fonts.... Try ubuntu or roboto
they look cool on our ldpi device

abt kernel.... I got stuck during compiling... Not going to accept my defeat... Starting from the base. ..... TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT....

if you haven't fixed the OC kernel yet, I was actually trying to implement it to the eclair some time ago... but had to stop because my laptop was crap
so what i figured i would do was that id get the kernel from the eclair and extract the initramfs. then get the g3mod kernel and replace its initramfs with th eone you extracted from the eclair one. you would probably have to mod the actual kernel slightly to get it working, i never got around to actually finishing my project unfortunately. when you get g3mod working on eclair, thats a job well done

Thanks for help, but I understand that this project takes a lot of time to complete it, that's why I do it a lil later.
