Default Camera and Nav bar conflict

Hi, I found that the camera and the on screen Navigation Bar conflict. When I have the Nav Bar on, and then use the camera it doesn't hid like it does in youtube. It turns into a row of fuzzy dots but these cover up the shutter button on the camera as well as the settings. So it makes it impossible to take a picture. I'm running Miles Stone 6 AOKP on my LG Optimus One P500. Other than that it seems to be great!
Any ideas on a workaround for the camera?

The echo isn't as bad as earlier builds correct?

Also I was wondering if any audio adjustments had been made to make call echo less obvious... For example lowering the volume of in calls on either end...
