Default WiFi problems 4.0.4

Hey im from UK and I used to be rooted before ics. I used to flash custom roms etc etc. Today I decided to update to ICS via pc companion. I love ics but my WiFi interferes with my computer!

How can I fix this? My WiFi was fine before the update. Cheers

If I try to connect, it takes ages to obtain ip address and when it does I dont get internet access. It shows the WiFi icon with the yellow warning icon

Before in GB was it working well and are you sure that there are no problems with the internet connection?
Try rebooting the device and see if it worked!

Did the reboot work?

I see many of them are complaining about the wifi bug in ICS.. Its a common problem i see.. Wait for Sony to fix the bug but it'll take decades.. A fix should arrive soon though.. I think the problem might be with the baseband!

Yeah possibly, but sucks because I had to pay for internet data now because of no WiFi
