On gb I get great speeds and on ics I get horrible speeds. I looked I checked I did everything known to man to try and fix it. I want to know if anyone has encountered this and has a fix.

The one with 12mbs is gb. I need your insight people. Any help is good help

Tried it. I get best results with el29 on both ics and gb. I've done everything from prl and profile to kernels to some dial codes. and one clicked back to el29 to push ota with factory resets. Got nothing. Only thing I haven't tried was the one click to ff18 I think it will have the same results. I love ics this is driving me nuts.

That's what I'm using I get best results with it. Nothing like 12mbs. On a good day running ics I get max 2 and half megs but most of the time I get .83 on ics roms.

Once you're on ics with your modem of choice, call *2 and ask to have your device reprovisioned, after reprovisioning do your prl and profile updates and see if your speeds get better. I did the reprovision myself cuz i have all the numbers and codes written down from when i activated my phone and my speeds went back up. I'm guessing activating it while on ICS gives better settings for the network that are more inline with the software. Versus using the GB settings that are already programmed into the diagnostic menu. Also try removing the proxies and ports thru epst, under the multimedia settings

Did you have to go into ##3282#, and if so did you have the commit modifications option when you hit the menu button? I just got an E4GT as replacement and was going to make some tweaks, however I don't have the commit mods button. Running FF18...

That's what I did was went to the modem I had the best speeds on and then got on the latest tw ics build and did my reprovisionimg then flashed back to aokp after my prl and profile updates. Gimme a sec and ill let u know which modem I'm using, I live a lil ways east of bradenton FL and I get 1+mbps consistently. Right now I'm averaging 2.3mbps cuz its late during the day I get 1-2mbps and at night I get 1.5-2.8mbps usually around 2-2.2 pretty steady after 12 and before 8am
EtA: I'm on the fd19 modem right now that one and I cant remember off top of my head if it was fb or fc 22 and 25 they came out 3 ddays a part both worked good too with 25 being a few kbps faster than 22 but they were a little inconsistent fd19 has been steady consistent since I flashed it like a day or 2 after it was leaked others I tried after it weren't as fast although I haven't tried ff18 I ended up going back to fd19 after trying most of the leaked modems from may and then deciding it was too much hassle when fd19 had been the best. El29 gave me a ton of problems after I got it ota and I ended up having to manually reflash and reprovision on it til I decided to switch to ics when TCP got the aokp ports stable enough for me to tweak em into a daily
