Not to sound stupid and after reading a LOT about the difference between root and unlocking the bootloader, what the HECK is the difference? If i can load a custom rom onto my device cause i have root, what would be the advantage to having the bootloader unlocked? Changing startup programs, different carriers? Sorry, it honestly never made much since to me...lol Thanks guys...
UPDATE: no intention of hijacking this thread either but basically if i want an AOSP ROM i am guessing. That makes more since. I am a pretty stock ROM person so root works for me 99% of the time.
